Both are trash QBs.
-
Gray is healthy and practising.

We're trying to win a GC in 2019. 1991-2018 are completely irrelevant to this discussion. I'm not sure what you're arguing. What QB is better suited to lead the Bombers than the one who is starting now? Who knows the playbook better? Who is a proven winner that is or was available?
-
Before he was injured, Nichols was a better QB as evidenced by his statistics. However, this does not make Streveler "garbage" or "trash" or whatever. Streveler has far less experience and can grow, as Nichols did, as evidenced by the voodoochylde's post.
-
I really, truly, have no idea what you're saying. But we're not getting Nichols back now (or ever, probably), so.........
-
Pretty sure with a blown shoulder, Nichols is not the best QB we have right now.
-
Niku is hurt and not playing.

It's nice to see all these new names. I'm sure this young pup Prichard will absolutely bring fresh, new ideas in! I loooove this idea.

Rider fans complaining about our attendance on Saturday
JCon replied to Joe Rockhead's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Yeah, you're really just making things up. They haven't played them yet. Not sure if Harris will be back for either game. And, the Esks have nothing to play for. But, oh sure, very comparable to when the Bombers beat them. When the Bombers played them, they were ranked second in the power rankings. -
Rider fans complaining about our attendance on Saturday

We beat Edmonton twice when they were playing their best. -
So, in the Montreal game, you wanted Streveler pulled in favour of McGuire in the fourth quarter?
-
Huh?
-
Well, in this specific example, he didn't. But, if the Bombers can drop 21 points in the fourth quarter with our starter, it's no wonder that coaches (across the league) are reluctant to send in their back-up QB, even when it looks like the game is well in hand.
-
But Streveler got lots of live game experience (for a rookie and second year player).
-
Streveler continues to add to his career stats. He's broke his old career mark yesterday. A new milestone with every game!
-
And, yet, we dropped 21 points in the fourth to the Als. Imagine pulling Nichols when we're up comfortably on to have the game slip away? Absolute carnage. There would be a riot... a small one, but a riot nonetheless.
-
1- Harris - He ran and didn't stop running. 2- Jefferson - He blocked everything and put so much pressure on Adams that he was a scared and wounded duck by the end. 3- Sayles - Two picks but everywhere today. HH - O Line for smacking the Als in the face all game long.

-
He's in the doghouse for some reason. Not sure what he did.
-
No and all the Bombers media seems to have turned their attention to the Jets. I'm not seeing any updates on practices or anything. I've asked many without response. I would have walked over there myself to see a practice but I'm made of sugar. Plus at least one playoff game.

A side note/rant, not on this topic at all... I really hate using CFL_News in any tweets or retweets. They take someone else's work and put it into their own tweet. Usually, those are professionals that rely on the their Twitter traffic for their job. If someone wants to use their rework, they should retweet it properly, so that the professional gets the credit. Rant done.

Just bringing this thread back as a reminder to those that were hating on Laine a few weeks ago. He's just leading the league in points so far this year. It's early, but it's hard to square that fact with the idea that he's "a detriment to the team."
