Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
JCon replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
$100k if he's on the roster January 15th, 2024. That's before anyone can talk to Dru, unless they trade for his rights. In 2024, Cornelius will collect $100,000 for being on the Elks’ active roster on Jan. 15 with and an additional $46,500 for reporting to training camp and passing his physical, a $200,000 base salary, half of which is guaranteed under the terms of the latest collective bargaining agreement, along with the same housing and travel available. This totals $370,000 in hard money plus the potential to earn an additional $40,000 for being the team’s starter. https://3downnation.com/2022/09/21/contract-details-edmonton-elks-pay-qb-taylor-cornelius-over-100000-to-sign-extension/ -
Pizza and salad are the only two things on the Sorrento's menu, as far as I am concerned. Salad is probably better than the pizza. I think the pizza is fine, but there are many others I prefer.

I wouldn't be if they keep him for the exact same role. He can go to the USFXLPDTJS and can join us after training camp, provided we don't find his replacement. I think finding that replacement will be tough. Pigrome didn't have it. Prokup was simply the best short yardage player, IMO, in the league. First downs were automatic. Already has Cornelius and Ford. Even if he dumped Ford, he has to pay Yukon his silver and gold. -
Yes, which is why he was a risky pick. But, the talent was there, it was just his body that gave out. Too bad for a kid that was in line to be an elite centre at the NHL level.

You can't make an NFL roster playing in the CFL. It's his dream. Unless you were a first-round pick, you have to just put your time in and get lucky with the situation. Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant behind a first-rounder and a regular starter. Found a way. -

I don't know, there's a lot of experts saying he's wasting his life and he should be playing in the CFL. -

https://nanaimonewsnow.com/2023/02/12/cfl-star-andrew-harris-returning-to-his-roots-as-vi-raiders-head-of-operations/ CFL star Andrew Harris returning to his roots as VI Raiders head of operations Feb 12, 2023 | 8:40 AM Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Copy Link NANAIMO — A former Vancouver Island Raider turned CFL standout is coming back to the team as their new head of football operations. Effective immediately, four-time Grey Cup champion Andrew Harris is the new head of football operations for the VI Raiders, and will be the head coach for the 2024 season. Harris played for the Raiders for five years right out of high school, bringing the team to three national Canadian Junior Football Championships (2006, 2008, and 2009), as well as breaking a number of B.C. conference and Canadian Junior Football league (CJFL) records. “I want to take this passion that I have for the sport and build something great for these young up-and-coming players and of course win some championships”. Harris said his five years in Nanaimo as a young player were pivotal in his training and football career. He’s signed to a five-year contract with the Raiders, and will oversee all football operations and decisions. He’ll move into the head coaching role in 2024, with the team opting to hire an interim coach for this season after Curtis Vizza stepped down. President of the VIU Raiders Kabel Atwall said Harris will be a great ambassador for the team. “He will have a great rapport with players, coaches, recruits, and board members and our treasured fans.” On the same day of this announcement, Harris signed a one-year contract extension with the Toronto Argonauts. Harris, 35, was slated to become a free agent on Tuesday. This will be a huge boost for the Raiders, who have suffered a number of unfortunate setbacks in the last few years. In September 2021, about $15,000 worth of equipment was stolen from their changing rooms at Comox Gyro Park. Then in the summer 2022, a fire badly damaged their practice facility, followed by a break-in and theft of $50,000 worth of equipment in the fall. Harris, his partner Danica and family plan to make Nanaimo their home. -

Yeah, just odd that he would commit to them, a year out, then bail on them before even starting. His life, of course. -
How will Columbus replace his production?? 🤣

I want Lambert getting ice time with the Moose. No point bringing him up, IMO, just to take third-line minutes and sitting every second game.
