Morons that employ Rod Black.

Davis looks good against the Regina Rams. Shocking.

We're falling apart, people. We need meaningful football stat! Unfortunately, we only have the Rough Rider-Roughrider match up tonight. Lord save our souls.

Cut it out.

Luongo is making decisions about his future but I sure do hope that his future includes his Twitter account:

Whoa. That's big. I have to think that this is meant to put pressure on TBay to help build a new stadium or to get one going in Montreal. The Raxpos.

The PA is upset that the CFL doesn't care about player safety when one member of the PA targets another member of the PA in the head and the PA is also upset that the CFL punished one member of the PA for targeting another member of the PA?
-
I bet it comes down to coaching and the RBs have the edge.

I'm imagining some variation of the Keystone Cops.

He is the likely the CFL Forum MOP at this point. Too early to commission the statue?

The whole premise is stupid. As if Nichols just hands off. Guy throws TDs and protects the ball. They just feel inadequate because they were told that they were on their way up when really the team was just getting gutted. They are nothing and have been nothing for so long. They just listen to people like Pederson and Nye, drinking the green-toilet water.

There is still so much we have to learn about CTE and concussions. The next area of research will focus on micro-concussions, which athletes (and whatnot) incur on even small events. They may not lead to a visible concussion symptoms, like we saw with Collaros, but rather long-term effects on the brain. Research suggests, that's why we see CTE in linemen who never reported or showed concussion symptoms. Football is in danger but so are many, many more sports. But, the good news is that as we learn more, we better be able to adjust, hopefully saving the sports we love.

I blame you. I don't see the posts until someone quotes them. It's all your fault!

The Forks isn't breathtaking? That entire area was rail yards 30 years ago. It's been transformed with shopping, parks, Human Rights Museum, Esplanade, Shaw Park, etc. It's a huge swath of land in the middle of downtown Winnipeg. How many cities can convert such a big area of prime downtown space into a family friend, business friendly space?
-
The Forks. (!!!!) The new Stadium. Growth and expansion at every end of the city, including population in 1980 - 581k vs 2018 - 753k. Etc, etc, etc. Having some of the same things as 40 years ago does not mean nothing has changed.

Yes and Connor and Laine will eat up $18M(?) of that. Not much left to fill out the rest of the roster, while still missing a 2nd line centre.
-
Adams theme song is "Rainbow Connection".
-
And you need to pay for: Laine Connor Copp Plus fill out the roster elsewhere with all the UFAs that will be leaving.
-
Obviously, he didn't want to be here. But, they don't have cap space to pay for everyone, so you couldn't bring back a player that was going to make $6+ million per year. I'm sure they would have paid Trouba $7M but they would have had to trade someone else, like Little, Perreault, and another.
-
Whatever. Kid was pushed into a top pairing role on a crap team. Give him a chance on a decent structure and he'll probably be a fine 2nd/3rd pairing defenseman like we need and can afford. Couldn't pay Trouba, so not sure why everyone thinks we would want a Trouba in exchange??
-
Hard to fault the coaching staff though. They weren't exactly running out a prime oline. He needed a quarter to settle in, like a good vet. They made the right decision.
-
Tried for Harris but there was no way they were going to get him. No slight against the Riders but Maas and Sunderland had the clear advantage. Riders would have had to spend Reilly type money to steal him. Jennings was realistic. But, seriously, why overpay for a scrub QB when you can just run anyone out to lose each week? I bet they thought Collaros would last a few months while they tested a backup. Didn't work out. It's not like Glenn had done much over the part two seasons.
-
Still a 4th liner. Hayes was good, despite being misused. That said, he's about to get paid $7M x 6 years. Crazy money. I would have been happy with a $6x6 here.
-
Hayes was a good move. He was good for the Jets and cost us a 20th pick and Lemieux, a fourth liner.
