  1. What about a deal with Florida?
  2. Risto has three more 3 more years at $5.4M AAV.
  3. Where's the barf emoji? Why on earth would we want Ristolainen, other than his contract? No, I think Trouba is worth more than Ristolainen. Sabres fans responses are funny though!
  4. One might argue, that since he's not a career politician, he would be more sensitive to criticism, having not built up a certain amount of resistance over his career. However, this is Donald Trump, the man is too ignorant, pathetic, and has bullied his way into the public eye for so long, it doesn't hold weight. His grifting and racism have been on full display for almost his entire life and he loves being the centre of attention. His ego, on the other hand, is so fragile, it's weakness.
  5. I wouldn't cheer for any other Canadian team and I wouldn't expect their fans to cheer for the Jets. I feel absolutely no relationship to any of them.
  6. Let's say the players don't report and the teams don't pay the report-and-pass bonuses, that will create a lot of animosity between the players and the league. Also, frees up more cap space to bring in more players to replace the players that didn't get their report-and-pass bonuses. Everything is fine.
  7. Snitches get stitches!
  8. I'm listening... go on.
  9. I'm kind of embarrassed to say that I didn't know that there was a The Good Wife spin off. That show went downhill fast near the end. And Diane Lockhart's character really became unappealing to watch in the later years. Reminded me of an opportunistic politician. I see enough of those in the news already.
  10. Certainly, but that won't nullify the contract. At best, the players can sue to have them nullified but that takes time. I suppose there's risk allowing players to attend a camp like this but you would think that the AAF would allow it? Then, if a CFL team was interested, they could negotiate a release with the AAF?
  11. The contracts are assets. I don't think, once you're in bankruptcy protection, you can simply release people from their contracts if they are considered assets.
  12. Their contracts let them sign with the NFL.
  13. Rogue One was awesome. Top 3-4 Star Wars movie, for me.
  14. Great little tweet thread. Follow the link.
  15. And the other is owned by the league.
  16. The man could kill someone on the front lawn of the WH and Trumpkins would defend him. These people want a dictator to tell them what to do and what to think. Little minds.
  17. Jesus, Hellebuyck, could you make a timely save???
  18. Flames remind me of the Senators from a few years ago, when they went to the Eastern Conference Final. Everyone assumed that they would be a great team going forward but they dropped off a cliff. I could see Calgary doing the same next year.
  19. Sarah Slanders.
  20. It depends on the class of the creditor. Creditors are classified, the highest class getting paid first. Secured creditors will get what's owed to them. But most won't, including the players.
  21. I thought Hnidy was good by the time he left. I really liked Engblom and was sad when he left.
  22. Agree. There is no way Debrusk is near the top. Galley is better and so is Ferraro, the current king. The only good thing is that Paul Romanuk is not calling this one. I've never been a Beyak fan but fear a day when we'll be subjected to more of Edmonds.
  23. Pretty sure Sportsnet is the broadcaster.
  24. This is probably the most succinct summary of the mountain of evidence against Trump and his campaign. Clink on the link, it's 35 tweets long but lays out everything in the report.
