Impeachment is a low priority for the Democrats (the party) now in terms of timing. They know they can begin the impeachment process at any point and they know that the Senate will never impeach Trump. So, build the case, make it overwhelming and hit the GOP deep into the election cycle. There may be individual Democrats that want to push forward now but the party will try to suppress them until they think the timing is right.
