And there it is... Double or Nothing. MGM Grand. Las Vegas. May 25th.

How could the Jets hope to keep Laine, Roslovic, Connor, Morrissey, Trouba, etc if they spent right up to the limit? Also, there are bonuses that will be due on the ELCs. You spend up to the cap when you absolutely have to but you need room in order to sign the younger guys and to make trades to help the club. As you can see, the Jets have been adding more and more salaries each year as the draft-and-develop model comes to fruition.

Who's going to work as announcers?

It's all about the upside for Kenny, though. If he values his freedom and can make near the same money outside the WWE, then why not?

It's funny but the nWo in WCW actually made McMahon a billionaire. No way wrestling climbs as high as it did without the Attitude Era. It forced Vince to push things out of his comfort zone. WCW paid too much, to too many guys and you always felt as though the roster was too big. I mean, they couldn't even get all the nWo into the ring. Trying to give everyone time on the mic was challenging and it seemed like they were rarely even wrestling. I hope Kenny signs with AEW. I fear he would be ruined in the WWE.

This seems in line with what Turner did - throw a lot of money at talent to get some of the best names in the industry. It worked for a while and lead to the wrestling revolution. Khan doesn't own the means to distribute it, though.

The more teams in for Reilly, the more the price gets driven up. In the short term, that's good for the Bombers. I would imagine, in the long term under a cap system, the market will correct itself back down. Reilly is an exceptional talent and this feels like a unique situation.

Pence was better when he was in the witness relocation program. Hiding.

Riders extending head coach and GM Chris Jones through 2020: reports https://3downnation.com/2019/01/07/rider-extending-head-coach-and-gm-chris-jones-report/ Sounds like he'll have an out if the NFL or NCAA come calling.

Singleton reportedly joining NFL's Eagles after release from Stampeders https://www.cbc.ca/sports/football/cfl/alex-singleton-stampeders-release-cfl-1.4968802 That's a game changer. Bighill's contract just went up, up, up!

Interesting that several networks may not carry the speech.

There must be advanced metrics for kickers? I'm with @Noeller that I thought he had a great year last year. He was often putting the ball where it was needed. That was the eye test though and not based on any statistical metrics and I would be curious to have my conclusion tested with advanced metrics.

Let's say, hypothetically, you were doing an HBO documentary about Kenny, would "the decision" be a part of it or would you have wrapped filming and sent it to post-production by now?

Trump is not an intellectual. His presidency is a product of timing, some populist planners and foreign government intervention. He has no plan.

20-30 Canadian stores over the next few years. That's pretty ambitious and risky taking on that many leases and that much capital investment. As is with all box stores - distribution is king. If you can get the product on the shelves, you have a chance to succeed. If not, you're DOA.

You can put all the talent in WWE but if they keep putting out a bland, rehashed product, it will still be unwatchable. KO can be the best in the world, with outstanding ability, but the WWE storylines/bookings will bury him.

But hes the smartust prez ever.

Trump on human traffickers' routes: "They get off the road, and they drive out into the desert and they come in, they make a left turn - usually it's a left, not a right." After getting distracted, he resumed: "They make a right turn before they get to the port of entry." — Daniel Dale (@ddale8) January 4, 2019 A favorite quote of mine from Trump's delusion statement today. His lies don't even last line to line anymore. They used to just change daily. Full quote, also from Dale:

He said he could call for a state of emergency but is not doing it. Feels like he's floating a balloon. Of course, he'll get confirmation from Fox News that it's a genius move by a master tactician, then go ahead and do it next week.

Great interview with Tommy Dreamer on The Warm-up Show on TSN 1290 this afternoon. I'm sure it will be released on a podcast later. He's in town promoting the CWE show tonight but he has a lot of insight on the business, including the impact of social media and the internet on the business. Some very good and informed takes. Here's a link to the page when it goes up in a few hours: https://www.tsn.ca/radio/winnipeg-1290/shows/the-warm-up-show-1.52971

Another tweet I read earlier said (and I'm paraphrasing): You controlled the House, Senate and WH for two years and you couldn't find money to build the wall but, all of a sudden, now you need you think it's a good idea to shutdown gov't over wall funding.

I can only see him protecting one of his kids. The rest will probably rot in jail hoping that daddy comes to visit them.

I think it would be helpful for viewers to include how many indictments and convictions/plea deals they've already secured in relation to each investigation. I guess the Trump University fraud predates the current list. Is Trump's NY tax fraud investigation captured under the Trump Org investigation or are only Federal investigations captured. Follow up question(s)... When Trump eventually cuts a deal and pleads guilty to a host of fraud related charges, does he see a jail? Or does he live long enough to see anything through?
