I worked just about every position at the Hut (with the exception of the dish pit). That goes back a while. In the past, we had a spray with would add to stuffed crust pizzas. It was a buttery flavoured*, garlic spray. They may be using that spray or others now. I can tell you, without a single exception, I never did or saw anyone do anything to a pizza for a rude customer. Not in my time. That does not mean other stores didn't but I never did or did I see anyone do it. * No butter was harmed in the making of the buttery spray.

No, they're cooked in vegetable oil.

So what's your approach if you're BC (or anyone) in FA... Sign (or keep) 4 or 5 anchor players, game changers, and build around them, plugging with low cost FAs and rookies? You can't afford lots of pricey players if you're signing Reilly to $600k. It will be interesting to see the timing of FA with the new CBA.

The North McPhillips will replace the St James location is what I've heard.

So, I ended up getting a Note 9. Got it for "free" through my corporate plan and they doubled my monthly data. It's going to cost me a bit more per month but overall, quite a reasonable rate on a new phone. It's much faster and nicer than my S7 Edge. So, far, I really like it. I'm getting used to the new size.

Russia attacked Ukranian ships and shut a key strait to get to the Sea of Azov. On cue, Trump attacks NATO and the EU. All part of Putin's plan.

Really, Ambrosie shouldn't be pursuing Halifax at all. He should be communicating with them but, if they want to join, they should be coming to Ambrosie. And, El Fiasco, will be a mess, guaranteed.

The other owners must look at Melnyk, then True North, then Melnyk, then True North and wonder how they can have such a range in quality of owners. Melnyk has done everything he possible can to sink that franchise in Ottawa. Imagine if Balsille was an owner too? Yikes.

But, what's it going to cost to get those deals? If it's free money, sure, but it won't be. The CFL will need to guarantee something hoping to lure someone. It just doesn't make sense from the Mexican point-of-view to invest in the CFL right now. --------------------- I still wonder if we're getting the best deal having TSN as the exclusive rights holder. Other broadcasters just ignore the CFL. Sure it's been good for TSN but for who else?

JSK in the middle is an improvement over Hurl. And, there must be other LBs we can scoop, right? EDIT: I still believe Hall retires. But that's just a feeling.

The X does 4K graphics the best out of all the non-PC systems. Games like RDR2 are simply nicer on the X. But, you need to have the TV and you need to care. S is much cheaper and will play all the games the X will.

I'm saying that's exactly why they were pushing it- the market demanded it and they reacted to the market demand. As for Moana, I'll tell you, when you go down south, there is more Moana, more Princess Tiana and more Princess Elena. They push it more in areas where they believe it better reflects the population. Unfortunately, they miss the boat when they realize that kids care far less about the colour of their skin and more about their attitude.

I had my B-Days in the caboose. It was right at Plaza Drive. At least a couple. That's also where my dentist was (and was still there not long ago). Same place as the South Winnipeg Dinner Club (no idea what the name was) where they held a lot of weddings. Across the street was Starwberries, right?

Yup... time to find a home for his fam here in town. Who set Milt up? Get them on board for Biggie and the fam.

Bishop Grandin didn't open until 1978 and was only extended to Waverley from Pembina. in 1990. Crazy, hey? Source: http://www.mhs.mb.ca/docs/sites/bishopgrandinboulevard.shtml

They could assign him directly? I didn't know that. I thought, just like the Avs, they would have to keep him on the roster for 30 days. I guess this doesn't happen that often.

Think Corney is coming back? I didn't think he left on very good terms.

Here's a link to a collection of theatres of Winnipeg's past. http://www.dancebob.com/Winnipeg_Theatres/Winnipeg_Theatres.html Drive Ins are at the bottom. Drive-In Theatres Airport/Airliner s.s. Ellice at Madison (1952 - ????) (became the Airliner c. 1964) As a small child, in the 50's, when my Grandmother lived on Queen Street, we could walk to the end of her street, sit on the grass and watch the movies. The hanging speakers in those days were easily heard from outside the fenced compound. Northmain Drive-In Main Street North (May 3rd, 1951 - 1980) The Drive-In is Lot 32 Main Street. Club Copacabana is Lot 35 ... so they are both between Red River Blvd. and Drury. Pembina Drive-In 1994 Pembina Hwy (July 19, 1949 - c.1975) This was the first drive-in theatres in the mid-west and was built by Jack Miles in 1949, followed by the Eldorado Drive-In in 1950. Jack Miles owned Allied Amusements Ltd., which later became Western Theatres Ltd. and at one time owned and operated 18 movie theatres in Winnipeg, which included, The Uptown, The Palace, The Plaza, The Rose and The Roxy Theatres. Jack Miles died in 1951, but the family owned business continued for 2 decades and still owns the Uptown Bowling Lanes building, which is currently (2018) being re-furbished into office space. Odeon Drive-In 4415 Portage Avenue (Sept. 20th, 1963 - Sept. 2007) (998 cars) Starlite Drive-In 1300 Regent Avenue W. (c. 1954 - ????) (Transcona Hwy. - another source) Debbie, a reader of this site says the Starlite was still there in 1974. Eldorado Drive-In Theatre 1001 Henderson Hwy at Eldorado St. (June 29th, 1950 - 1955) Circus Drive-In n.s. Portage Avenue at Muriel (Kirkfield Park) (Aug. 14th, 1952 - 1955) Lockport Drive-In Junction of Hwy. No. 1 & Hwy No. 9 (1954 - 1955)

Everything they do is driven by sales but I think they realized that they were falling behind. Parents were really questioning Disney in the mid-90s when all their top movies featured strong male leads with semi-independent females as secondary characters. Aladdin had Jasmin. Lion King had Nala. Beauty and the Beast had Belle. Then, they found some success (and praise) with Pocahontas and Mulan. They realized that they could have strong, female leads and still draw an audience. Males still dominated for a long time, as it takes a while to work through the films that are in production. Disney also realized that they could leverage their Princesses and recast them as strong and independent. They removed them from their movies and sold the Princesses idea hard. I would say that Princesses have dominated and driven the Disney marketing over the past 15 years. Disney owns the "Princess". They had their cake and ate it too. Genius marketing.

Haha. Well done, Chevy. EDIT: Didn't have to pay him for a month to sit.
-
Live action Little Mermaid? That could be really creepy. I liked Moana too. I appreciate the fact that Disney has gone out of their way to incorporate women as strong independent characters. Gone are the days of princesses waiting on princes to "save" them. They even turned the story of Rapunzel in a positive way. I hope they continue with the Moana universe.

Not if you're paying for two residences. His fam lives there.

He allows us to play another International on the line. Is that worth it? Can we even find a replacement?

We had to do grade 4 and 5. When I was in grade 4, there was only one grade ahead of us. Our school was English but changed to French. After grade 1, the English students moved to another school. We had our grade and one ahead of us. So, when I was in Grade 2, there was a Grade 1 class,a Grade 3 class and no other. The next year, it went to grade 4, then 5, then 6. Yes, they still have kids. I saw them two weeks ago outside. One boy was in his gym shorts and t-shirt while it was really cold out there. Dad instincts kicked in and I almost called the school. Didn't but really thought about it.
