I would prefer that we don't have to play on the road in BC. We might be rolling, but I prefer to see the Lions OUTSIDE in November and not in their cushy dome. Plus, more games means more chance for injuries and less recovery time.

My point was not to only bring back the 70s/80s stuff but that True North can't make anything nice without bringing back the 70s/80s stuff. These new ones are ugly, regardless of their history.

Signed my oldest up to curl this year. It will be his first year. He really enjoys watching it, but it's never worked out timing-wise. What a cheap activity! $135 for an entire season. Obviously, I have some upfront costs like shoes and a broom but the broom can be used in the future. Definitely cheaper than flag football, which is twice as much for half the time. Ah, well, I'll just take it out of the university fund.

They've had a soft schedule so far and are already on cruise control. It's not even cold yet.

I just think that most people don't understand the difference between antibiotics and vaccines.

Antibiotics fight bacterial infections. Vaccines prevent illness by making your immune system stronger. If we stopped giving vaccines to animals, they would undoubtedly get sick and probably make us sick.

There are 63 players on that list and does not include the USFL signees. Seems like they do kind of need a feeder league.

Maybe. But, there's a demand for it. Just need to build consistency. There's definitely only room for one, but they have the goal of becoming the feeder league for the NFL. The NFL could use a development league to build a deeper pool and fill in some gaps in area coverage. I don't know how much they're prepared to lose. Time will tell.

This year... Ugh. My mother listened to Roger Whittaker often as I grew up. So, naturally, Roger was a big musical inspiration. Probably one of the reasons I love singer-songwriters so much. Oh, I'm certain that Scheif is an issue too. But, I am curious to see how this season goes. Chevy blew it when he couldn't move Scheif or Helle. Neither will be here next year and this team is not competing for a Stanley Cup, full stop.
