I just wasn't sure if you were talking about Entrom's or Buff's stats. For Buff, I heard his stats were lower than previous years. Dom Luszczyszyn was on the TSN 1290, and although he's still ahead of Trouba and Morrissey, that the reason is because of his previous year's stats and that he's trending down. I have no idea, I don't follow the fancy stats closely or know what he was measuring.

Enstrom's stats?

What year is this that you think factory work is some sort of slave operation? Have you been in a factory lately? Who in the oil fields make $50k/year?
-
People making $50k are not putting their long-term health on the line. Of course it's about money, the life changing money he can make in the NFL.
-
He's not breaking the contract. If he plays football in 2018, he'll be an Argo. He's chosen not to play.
-
He's gone home to work. That's his real job.
-
Training costs time. Time when he's not making money. How are the Argos getting Wilder, an American, a job in Toronto? Pretty sure his visa would restrict him to football.
-
$50k in TO does not go far. Then, you need to find someone willing to employ you during the winter. Then, you risk losing that job if you're still injured.
-
Which is exactly what Wilder is doing.
-
4 months of work? You train in the offseason. Then, May, June, July, August, September and October you play for $50k. Then, if you're lucky, you make some November coin. Then, you wait all offseason to see if you'll be invited back.
-
And he has the option to sit out and take his chances the following year. That was also established when he signed his contract.
-
Argos can end the contract at any moment. Wilder steps out of the tub funny and never gets another paycheque from professional football again.
-
So, then, what's the big deal? Why are we talking about this? Dime a dozen.
-
I bet he at least makes a practice roster, then can come right back up to the CFL if he chooses. He'll make more money, I'm certain of it and keep the mileage off his legs. I think the evidence suggests that mileage matters more than age on RBs.
-
He can take next season off, then make more than twice what he'll make in the CFL next year in the following year. I don't like it but I can't blame him. Life is short. Football careers are shorter.

In shorts??

Yes, you need a seventh dman, just in case something happens between now and tomorrow nights game. I'm thinking bad sushi or something. Like Frosty said, Chairot goes in. Moose are in Belleville, so Poolman can easily get to Mississauga and fly to LA today.
-
He won't be available for tomorrow's game, at least. If it had been really bad, they would have put him on IR, I think. I heard stiches but nothing about concussion yet. If that's the case, the All-Star break comes at a good time for Kulikov.

I think Dregs still does Wednesday on the Afternoon Drive show.

Craig Button already provides semi-regular spots. McKenzie does not. They often replay his spots but he does not appear on TSN1290.

This is a criminal investigation. They have indicted people and done quite a comprehensive review. The only people that think this should be wrapped up by now are those that don't understand how long it takes to build such an enormous case and those politically motivated to want a quick resolution.
-
Well, we know they won't shut up, so....

Saying the right thing now and living it are two different things. Let's just hope he means it.

My only concern with Durant as the back-up is his head. Is he really, truly ready to be the back-up? Ready to get back-up reps and hold a clipboard?
-
Yes, some of the worst get a chance to start but he's not one of them. They get found out under the lights. The guy has put up 50k passing yards. You don't get that holding a clipboard or only playing garbage time.
