It's about progression. Yes, Jennings was way ahead of others at similar age/experience but he hasn't developed, and maybe, he's even regressed. If you saw him making better a better decisions but not putting up the same yards, I think you would be okay but he's not progressing. Maybe it's the system but he does make some very weird decisions.

I think Hurl is a bit of a scapegoat for Hall. I would prefer that neither is back. Hurl didn't make Hall's defence poor. But, Hurl didn't execute when needed. A better MLB would not make the Hall defence much better. Hurl does not perform much better in a different defence.

Tried, tested, moved on. If he was pandering, they would have stuck with it. Core Fans Still Matter Some "core" fans want the change, so stop pretending that you speak for everyone. Provide an argument or rationale as to why it makes sense to keep it at the end of November, without trying illicit an anti-American reaction. It has nothing to do with the US market. Screws Up the Draft The fans matter, not sure why you don't think they would. And no, the front offices will figure out the draft. There are always plenty of unknowns going in. I have serious concerns about Nichols ability to get it downfield. It may just be my memory playing tricks on me but it seems that every time he put it outside, downfield, he was way off the mark.

There's no pressure on December 1st to commit to a new DC, when we have one under contract. And, we have no idea what Walters is doing or what inquiries he's making.

I don't think Hall should be retained but the over-the-top ranting and raving about how the Bombers are missing out and need to move on is ridiculous. There is no pressure, at this time, to dump Hall until you have someone else lined up. There's no one available right now that is better than Hall. End of story. I would say Orlondo Steinauer would be one, that, if you could lure him away from a DC role at a top 25 US football program, he would be my first choice. But there's no way you could lure him away. And, even if you could, you're waiting until the season is done and the Bulldogs are bowl-bound this year.
