Stop fining players for blatant head-shots. Suspend them.
-
Really? Ask Cam Marshall how well he feels protected. He takes lots of head-shots, without repercussion.

1. Calgary 2. Winnipeg 3. Roughwhiners 4-9. The rest.

This makes me very sad. Love Westerman. Next man up.

LeFevour is a large, mobile QB who can get first downs (or TDs) on short-yardage plays. He keeps the ball secure and can always throw it downfield, keeping the D 'honest'. I know some of the plays where he stays in following a short-yardage trying to catch the defence off guard have not worked out but I do like that the defence has to pay attention. -

I can't think of any good reason to get rid of Lefevour. I hope they can extend him. -
We're only one week into this change. Imagine what it's going to be like after 6 weeks? Poor, poor, QBs. Protect the QBs by punishing the players who break the rules and hurt them. Reilly has taken two dangerous head shots without any repercussions.

If Johnny Football ended up in Toronto it would be great for selling tickets. Would pay for itself, really. I think it would be great for the CFL in Toronto, if, if, if, Manziel's head is on right. -
Never forget the costs of defending #FortHew.

I think Noeller is suggesting a whole different kind of party. -

Now he'll have a season and a half of game film and pro experience. He really has nothing to lose but a few months of starting in the CFL. -
I work downtown and see plenty of wildlife too. Not the kind of wildlife you would see camping, mind you.

Collaros is signed through 2018. The TiCats are going to have take a chance and add talent. It's now or never for 2017. Collaros has not worked so far in 2017, why trust him as your back-up?

Someone remind me why Rod Hill is not in the HOF?

Poolman is playing today. I'll be interested to see how his conditioning is following the double surgeries. -
That's an interesting trade. The key to making that work is the money. Without the money, I'm not sure the Riders would make that offer. JSJ still has a lot of value, no? But that certainly ticks the boxes for both teams. Legit number one starter for the Riders and O-line help for the TiCats.
-
I don't think many around here disagree with this approach. The post was in jest. No one is trading for Davis. Why would they? It will be interesting to see what Davis does when he does get in.
-
I wouldn't. The Esks have not looked good for a long time now. Even before we pulled their heart out of their chest and showed it to them, they looked beatable against the TiCats. The Austin led TiCats. It's difficult to lose back-to-back games against the same team, yet the Esks did so.

For Hamilton to get back into it in the East, they're going to need help in a few places. If I'm Hamilton, I risking it and trading Collaros for talent and a draft pick. You take the chance you can keep Masoli healthy. If the Riders come with a good offer, you take it. When the offseason comes around, teams might not offer you as much when they're sober and thinking rationally.

I went down the rabbit hole of twitter comments about the decibel level after the game. Roughwhiner fans were complaining about air horns and banjos. "The CFL has outlawed these at stadiums, how can the Bombers be allowed to have them!!" Say what? The CFL doesn't outlaw anything. Each team/stadium has their own rules. "They used fireworks!!" Well, yes, but not during the play when the decibel level was being measured. They seem equally upset about the loss in the stands as they do about the loss on the field.

I, too, like to drink at work. Bottoms up!

We don't have those big goal line and 3rd down stands without Poop in the line up. I hope they can get him back in this week.

I worked a lot of late afternoon and evenings while out on the Left Coast at a gas station, so I had a lot time to listen to games. I enjoyed Hughson, even if I was often cheering against the Canucks.
