I've seen some rankings where the Riders are ahead of Montreal. I agree with these rankings though.

I think they ruined "Iron" Mike Renaud when they wouldn't let him run down any longer chasing his punts. But, yes, since Medlock does nothing more than chase the runner, he should probably just get off the field.

I'm talking about his career and how's he's developed. Look at the crew he had in 2015 in Edmonton but he had lots of interceptions. Now he doesn't because he's learned. You can hate on Jennings but he's still young and learning.

But that's just one problem. You still need a stadium and a location. You need corporate support and support from NB and NS. There are a lot of hurdles. If they found a champion, someone with lots of money (like the McCain family) who's willing to spearhead this, then it might work. I don't see that champion yet.

I was thinking that too but the only viable one I would make sense would be Halifax, IMO. Maaaaaybe QC finds the desire to build a 22-25K stadium and partners with Laval. That might be doable. I just can't see it in Saskatoon. It would always be the poor little sister of the Riders, especially with a 'little' stadium. Windsor? I'm not sure. Are they CFL or NFL fans there? Kelowna? Is there a big enough population base now? That would be interesting.

Very doable? I doubt that. Halifax: Someone on the east coast would need to build a stadium. Is Halifax interested in sinking ~$200M into a stadium? QC: They just build a huge arena that doesn't have prime resident, yet. Want to compete with the NHL when it returns? Bombers already have a solid base but probably saw a lot of potential revenue go to the Jets instead. Saskatoon: They just built a brand new (huge) stadium in Regina. Who's going to build one is Saskatoon? Not a single Rider fan that I have ever spoken to has ever said that they would support a team in Saskatoon, even those from Saskabush. They are Rider fans. It's a provincial thing.

I hope we don't sign Hill. If he does play in the CFL, I hope it's with Saskatchewan. They might be able to sell tickets to their practices with all the drama that they would have. Which Rider player did Hill punch?

Genie was not overhyped or overrated. She just couldn't maintain her focus when she got near the top. She deserved to reach the heights she did and won lots of really tough matches. Raonic is very good but cannot beat the top players and, as 17to85 said, lacks the killer instinct. It's most evident when he plays Nishikori. He's a much better player (IMO) but has lost 5 of 7 matches against him. Nishikori steps up and Raonic does not.

MOS doesn't care what the fans discuss as it has no effect on the team's performance.

Mentioned earlier: playoff wins. BLM was 1-1 in playoffs last year. Jennings was 1-1. If BLM is elite, so is Jennings?

Everyone is working from their own definition of elite. Define 'elite' first.

They have to make decisions to clear up cap room. If Johnson is not better than the replacements, then why not cut him? We have plenty of depth.
