I voted not quite yet but almost. But I don't see why he wouldn't be considered elite at this moment. This, of course, assumes you can be elite one-day and then not elite the next, like Collaros and Ray.

I wouldn't go so far as to say "nothing to do with the QB." In crunch time, his inexperience showed and the clock management was poor. That's poor coaching and inexperience.
-
Not sure how you would expect them to pay for Burris and what you would have to cut. I think Ottawa is close. Two teams in the East are going to make the playoffs. I think you let the team come together and figure things out. Harris is the future and needs experience and reps.

The great thing about Ed's writing is that the critique is/was usually subtle and factual.
-
And Ed's articles are great but the lack the critical edge that they had before. Still enjoyable though.

I find the refs far too incompetent to ever be consistently bias against any team.

Yeah, no doubt McKenzie called to ensure that Stanley was not in the Jets plans for 2017/18. This is great news for Stanley. Playing for Windsor, who was hosting the Memorial Cup was great for him last year, but the Rangers are a better team/organization.

What I wouldn't give to have thick, luscious hair like that! Ah, to be in my 20s again.

They never though that they needed to write one.

There's no point paying him $10M a season for 2018/19 either. If he'll do a deal where he gets $6M to $7M for his RFA years and $10M for his UFA years, you're probably going to sign that.
-
Yes, he can. That's literally what he does. Or files for bankruptcy.

We haven't done so in a long, long time, which is why I think when we do, consistently, we'll be the best team in this league.
-
In the past few years, I had confidence that the Bombers could win any game but a whole lot of things would have to go right - turnovers mostly. I'm confident now that we can overcome anything, including not winning the turnover battle and not kicking seven or eight field goals.
-
I think we can beat any team in this league. I think we will beat Ottawa with a complete, 60-minute performance. After this weekend, people will be putting the Bombers right up behind Edmonton and Calgary as the best teams in the league.

Which is why a bridge makes sense for both sides.
-
If I'm the Sabres, I'm only looking at a bridge deal unless his AAV is low. He's not McDavid. Let him prove he deserves top 5 money.

The reffing is still horrible in the CFL. The Command Centre is still horrible. This fixes the long delays but does nothing to address the real problem.

I think they're looking at multiple options for the future. Right now, they needed to determine who would host after Tokyo. Lots of places dropped out including, Germany and Boston (hence LA).
-
Yes, that's it. I always feel bad when I cannot remember the name. I send lots of people down there. The family is so nice too.

Deal worked out between Paris and LA to host the 2024 and 2028 Olympics. There were no other bidders left. The Olympics are trying to scale down for the future to avoid the crazy expenses incurred in Sochi.

Santa Lucia is my favorite. There's also a place in Winnipeg Square, sells pizza by the slice. It's ridiculously good. The meat lovers is amazing (my favorite) and they have a great Mediterranean (veggie) pizza. I never remember the name.

Too bad, the Mooch was going to provide endless entertainment and mockery. Spicer will be back now, I'm sure. The circus will go on.

First time Beck is performing in Winnipeg. Should be a great show. I hope you can find a buyer.

The Montreal game is the only home game I will have to miss all season. Away on vacation. Hope I didn't miss much. I was able to watch some of the game and listen to the entire thing (while packing to return from vacation). I was even happier when my Rider neighbours came knocking on my door with to watch the end of the game. They were in 'jolly' moods until the onside kick was recovered.
