Around the League - Training Camp Discussion
JCon replied to sweep the leg's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
That would make sense. Not a bad rule, really. Good for him for finishing. If it cost him time at an NFL camp, I would question his decision but not for a CFL camp. -
Vegas is a small town? What? Never mind all the tourists that they have, concentrated is relatively small space near the arena, the Vegas Metropolitan area is close to 2 Million.

That's whole lot of $$ for Drouin. Not sure he's earned that. Wow.

It is not.

Didn't Judge work out for the Texans or another NFL team? Or am I getting him confused with someone else? -
Montreal needs a centre and Drouin is not that. I think, like the Subban trade, this will prove to be a big mistake. Sergachev looks like the real deal and they would have controlled him for a long time. Drouin has already had issues with management. What happens when the media/fans turn on him? Could be big trouble. IMO, TBay won this trade by a long stretch. Time will tell though.

I bought a Adult and Youth ticket for the Banjo Bowl. Saved a few dollars for my mother. Only downfall was that I had to wait until the tickets were on general sale and couldn't buy during the season ticket presale. Very happy.

It was a s---tsunami, if ever there was one.

Dressler needs to get into rhythm too. Run some routes, make some plays. It's as much about getting Nichols and his starters work tonight, at least for a half, than it is about evaluation of the recruits. They don't play for more than two weeks after tonight.

Mayweather may UNretire to fight Mcgregor

Yes, do it now. People will talk themselves into this fight being more competitive. People will be selling this fight to boost the buy. -
Mayweather may UNretire to fight Mcgregor

And that's the reason I'm going to watch this fight. I don't think McGregor has a chance but if all the stars align, on one magical punch, he could stun Mayweather. -

There was a lot of people in MMA that thought a brawler and striker like Kimbo could overwhelm his opponents. They thought he could take a punch and keep coming. -
The Pylons.

You don't. I assure you, very little of your paycheque goes to that. I would bet that most of your paycheque goes back to you through infrastructure and services.

There can and that can be the US. But you can't call it free country if you're going limit others freedoms. Also, we can't easily emigrate to other countries.
-
Freedom to die at someone else's hand because proper controls are not in place is not the "freedom" I want. I want freedom from nut jobs with guns. That's not socialism.

I'll be watching. McGregor has no shot in a boxing match against Mayweather. The only hope is that Mayweather has forgotten how to box. Pound for pound, one of the best ever. His strategy will be flawless. The biggest knock against Mayweather at this point would be that he does not have tape on McGregor. And, maybe the long layoff. -
RFAs are eligible for selection or why would you sign them?
-
I don't see how the Dano signing has anything to do with the expansion draft. He's signing a one-year, one-way deal at that price whether he's with the Winnipeg or Vegas.
-
I agree. Davis is number two and The Fever is three. He's the insurance that Glenn provided last year. The insurance we complained that we didn't have in the past.

The more culturally appropriate term is "millennial".

If they've been a pro for less than two full years. Laine, Connor, Comrie, etc.

From your earlier post: The clause can travel with the player even if he consents to being traded or is claimed on waivers This requires that the acquiring team sign an addendum to the contract ensuring that the clause does in fact travel with the player (written by the player's agent) If the acquiring team refuses to sign the addendum, and the player waives his clause anyway, at that point the clause may be nullified.
