  1. Doesn't fit the narrative, so it doesn't count.
  2. They won 11 games last year. We won 11 games last year. Not sure why they had such a better season in your eyes. Again, hooray for the loser crossover. Lucky for them that they could go for that 11th win.
  3. I'm sure Saskatchewan would have had to pay more. We weren't interested in a broken down QB, despite it being the biggest offseason move in some people's eyes.
  4. That's way better? They won 11 games and so did we.
  5. That's almost 600 yds per season over 8 seasons. How could we miss out? Glenn was a bigger signing for Saskatchewan. And 600yds per season - that's in-line with what LeFevour has thrown with a missed season.
  6. They didn't win any more games than we did and didn't make it to the Grey Cup. So, hand them the participation trophy, in your eyes, they clearly had a better season. Maybe we can lose enough games this year to make you proud.
  7. This is the biggest? A broken down QB who hasn't played meaningful minutes in 5 years? Thrown 341 passes in 5 seasons?
  8. Oh, wow. That's a big move. Rider fans triggered.
  9. I didn't cherry pick anything. I was looking at the second half of the season. Big deal, they lost so much that they got the benefit of the cross-over. Hooray for them. Maybe you enjoy losing your way into the playoffs.
  10. And we went 6-3 when Edmonton went 5-4. Nice of you to ignore the last 9 game summary that I did.
  11. I think Franklin stays. I think they keep him and Reilly together, knowing the way Reilly plays. Franklin will get his chances. That being said, if Reilly stays healthy all season and Franklin doesn't extend in-year, they'll move him (to anywhere but Saskatchewan).
  12. We finished 11-7, so, yeah, we did win when we needed to.
  13. They finished the season 5-4. They lost to Sask, BC and Calgary. Weren't lucky. They didn't win when they needed to. We did.
  14. This was Ricky Williams' reflection, after the fact. He probably went back because he wanted/needed the money and wanted to prove himself in the NFL again. Yes, he "never cared about money" but those around him did. And, he probably felt some obligation to his friends, family and teammates. What you want to do and what you can do are often different things.
  15. Matthews name was engraved on the trophy on draft day.
  16. I've been thinking about this, which is sad, but anyhow... I think they should keep Glenn AND sign Russell. The constant cuts to Glenn to see his reaction to the Young-Manziel-Russell shenanigans would be awesome. Each week, we would see Glenn in Jones' office begging to be cut or traded. And each week, Jones just laughs it off.
  17. At 17, over 7 feet tall and 400 pounds, he won't play the game too long. I would surprised if his knees carried him through college/university.
  18. Everyone has money. You just have to make smart decisions.
  19. This is silly comment. Quality RBs are easy to find but not with a Canadian passport. If you had held onto Messam, you could have re-signed him. Getting a kicker is much easier than a National RB. And Winnipeg signed Medlock AFTER signing the National RB.
  20. I thought Messam was resurrected in Regina? I seem to remember some big games against us his year there.
  21. Great point! If he does work out, it probably means that he's got things straightened out personally. If he gets things straightened out personally, there are plenty of NFL teams that will give him a chance.
  22. Yup. Although, the possibility that he would be magic would be really enticing, the reality that magic is just slight-of-hand, would quickly set in. Manziel ain't nothing but trouble. Imagine MOS having to tell TMZ to get lost? He would lose his mind.
  23. That just means he's signing with the Riders so he can retire with a signing bonus cheque in hand.
  24. OMG. Purple Drank in the house! Throw a Tiger in the mix and party won't stop.
