  1. Santos-Knox was great last year, but he was our WLB. Wild is also a WLB that has never played a full season including just 5 last year, and the year before that he forgot how to tackle. I'd much rather sign a proven stud MLB like Dean or Reed as opposed to re-arranging our current LB's and hoping for the best. I'd actually be onboard with signing one of those guys and releasing Wild. Leggett/Dean or Reed/Santos-Knox would be amazing.
  2. Dean and Demski and i'd be doing backflips. Heck i'd be happy just with Dean.
  3. Sure doesnt look like that to me. Little looks slow this year. Ive always thought of Little as a shoot first type player and now they have him squished between 2 pure goal scorers so its almost like he's trying to be too much of a passer. I think putting him back with Wheeler would wake him up.
  4. Little had a garbage game and has looked a step behind all year. Is it time to switch him and Scheifele? Its almost like he's too slow to keep up with Ehlers and Laine. Scheifele has centered those 2 before and its been money. I think a Little/Wheeler/Connor line could also put up points.
  5. Apparently Chiarot didnt see the ice since for the last half of the 3rd even with Buff being out. Hopefully that means Poolman gets his chance. Mind you if Buff is out for a while(which it looks like) then that bum Chiarot will still be in the lineup. The guy is like herpes, just cant get rid of him.
  6. Why cant we have nice things? In hindsight we were lucky to get a point. Felt like they spent 3/4 of the game in our zone.
  7. Yes. He's the Mike O'Shea of NHL coaches.
  8. Dear lord, i just saw on CapFriendly that we are still paying Mark Stuart(buyout) until 2018-2019. 1.4 million this year and another $583,000 next year. Puke.
  9. He's signed through next season unfortunately.
  10. That a boy Chiarot, way to take a high sticking penalty on a nothing play where the lightning player was coming down on a 1on4 and your goalie had already frozen the puck. How the Jets figure this clown is an upgrade over Poolman ill never know. Poolman is your future who has already shown well against NHL players, while Chiarot is a #7 D on his best day who has already hit his very low ceiling.
  11. If they moved the season up 2 weeks they would just barely overlap and i really believe the majority of true CFL fans would rather watch their teams season opener then watch a Lightning/Kings playoff game. Obviously if their team was in it that would be different but were only talking about 1 game a week in the CFL as opposed to every 2 days in the NHL playoffs.
  12. Not saying they will. Im saying they should.
  13. Im all for moving it up, even if its just 2 or 3 weeks. June is being wasted. There is nothing finer than sitting outside on a nice warm day watching some football as opposed to freezing in a snowstorm and having the weather dictate the outcome of a Grey Cup. Screw the NHL playoffs. The NHL season should be moved up too. Hockey in June is ridiculous.
  14. Santa loves it! All i want for Christmas is a Rider loss.
  15. What a ****ing idiot. How is this guy regarded as anything more than a Rider fan boy???
  16. Anyone else desperately hoping Shawn Lemon gets a couple more sacks inevitably forcing Rod Black to yell "its a lemon party at BMO Field!"
  17. Turning point was when Richie Hall and Sam Hurl arrived at the stadium today. Those 2 need to be replaced before this team can take the next step. That and O'shea's coddling of his players and dumb decisions at critical times. If a player stinks, he needs to be replaced. How many games did Carmichael cost us with his horrible play before he finally left? And IIRC he left on his on accord, it wasnt even a situation where the Bombers got rid of him. And right up until the end O'shea would spoon feed us bulls**t about how they liked his game and he was coming around. Hurl has been a speed bump the entire season but ill bet if you asked O'shea he would tell you he is doing his job well and they like his game. I mean christ, in the postgame interview when Bob asked him about the godawful breakdowns in the secondary he STILL defended them saying something along the lines of it wasnt all their fault and its not why they lost. ENOUGH CODDLING ALREADY. Quit feeding us horsesh*t and telling us its filet mignon. You think guys like Hurl would still be around in the days of Cal Murphy or Dave Ritchie? Not a chance.
  18. I listen the CJOB mostly because Bob is awesome and a legend. Brown is alright. Tait i dont care for. Having said that i really enjoy Walby on 1290. He's awesome.
  19. Surprised no one has mentioned the trenches and how thoroughly we were dominated on both sides of the ball. They got smacked in the mouth by the Argos all game. Wilder ran all over us through huge gaps over and over again and we couldnt run the ball to save our freakin' lives. Both lines should be hanging their heads.
  20. Garbage might be a little flattering the way he's been playing this year. Maybe more of a soupy hot pile of garbage thats been sitting in the heat for a few weeks behind an Indian/Thai fusion restaurant.
  21. Oh and one more question. What the **** is wrong with Medlock this year? Two missed 39 yarders??? A high schooler could have made those.
  22. He's an absolute joke. Just a slug out there with no speed, awareness, or tackle ability. Its too late this year but at this point i'd look into starting another Canadian on the o-line if it means getting that plug out of the lineup next year and bringing in an American difference maker at MLB.
  23. -----Oh, and the middle linebacker
  24. Well the kicker is anyways
  25. Also the Riders won, which is nearly as painful as a Bombers loss.. The sporting world just took a giant s*** on us this weekend. I better win my fantasy football match tomorrow to even it out a bit!
