Schultz then proceeds to mention how their o-line is bigger and stronger and cool calm Kevin Glenn is gonna have a huge season with their "best in the league" receiving corps with the magician Chris Jones mixing it up and keeping teams guessing. What are these guys smoking??!? They spent about 30 seconds talking about the Bombers and it was the usual "cant duplicate the turnovers from last year" and "all depends on Matt Nichols".

Yes please on Gurley or Hazelton or both. Our receiving corps is extremely underwhelming. Character issues aside, this could be a wake-up call for these guys and a chance to redeem themselves. Gurley was a manbeast last year.

IMO lapo didnt help the cause with a s****y game plan from the get go. Flanders has been averaging almost 7 yards a carry over the last 2 games and he comes out chucking the ball all over the field. I would think you would want to hand it to your new found offensive weapon and keep the red hot Reilly off the field as much as possible. Front 4 simply not got enough. Westerman is not the same guy as last year, Cole is invisible, as is Shologan, and the much celebrated signing of Cummings has been a huge letdown. Then as soon as we bring more guys on the blitz Reilly dumps it over the middle for 10 yards. Me thinks Edmonton has just showed the rest of the league how to beat the Bombers.

Soft as marshmallow defence in back to back weeks now. Nichols isnt a world beater and needs a strong D behind him to be successful. Recipe for disaster going down the stretch.

Make that the last 5 games. The last 2 especially the D has really looked soft. Back to back games where we needed a stop by our D to win/potentially win the game and both times they've crumbled. Starting to come back to earth at the worst possible time.

Not saying Willy would have done this but that scenario does happen as well just like players being asked to re-structure.

Im not aware of any "smear campaign" against Drew Willy but i am aware of a fan base that was sick of losing and wallowing in QB mediocrity that had been going on here since George W began his 2nd term in office. Willy did himself no favours and played himself off the team. Blame it on whatever you want but it is what it is.
