  1. Agreed, thats why i feel Schoen is the odd man out. Lawler has had an injury history too but Schoen seems to have more lingering issues like from Sept of last year on. Also, Lawler's injury this season was of the freak variety with an arm fracture bracing himself after a catch. Schoen had a non-contact knee injury, while also somewhat freak is more concerning.
  2. Except he took less to come back here..... I dont think Kenny is going anywhere.
  3. I get its not a popular take, and i love me some Dalton Schoen, but he is a luxury at this point and the injuries are starting to pile up. From September of last year all the way through to the Grey Cup he was injured and in and out of the lineup, putting up 36 limpy yards in the big game. And now has missed the entire 2024 season going down week 3. Thats 1.5 out of 3 seasons injured now. May be a pattern forming. Save the money and go and get some legit proven interior and exterior pass rush/run stuff linemen. Thats really our glaring weakness. Having said all that, if he's willing to take a haircut to stick around then great, but having two receivers taking up 500K+ is a luxury and likely not needed with the young talent in our receiving corps. Wilson is quietly likely to break 1000 yards which doesnt happen very often for a rookie, and Wheatfall has been awesome when in the lineup. These guys are legit.
  4. Played RT and RG in college. Lacks ideal foot speed for a tackle so likely a guard at the pro level according to DraftDiamonds. Here is a summary from them: Jake Hornibrook graduated from Stanford after four years with the Cardinals and looks to play his 5th season for Duke as a graduate student. Hornibrook has started at both guard spots during his time at Stanford, but started all 12 games last year on the left side of the ball. He possesses an elite frame for a guard, albeit underweight for the position. Hornibrook utilizes sufficient get off with above-average leg drive at the snap. He shows his intelligence by keeping his punch between the shoulders in pass pro and accurately targeting the inside shoulder to create holes in the run game. However, he lacks high-level foot quickness and lateral COD, allowing him to get caught flat footed in pass pro by speed rushers trying to go around him. Hornibrook does not play with the desired violence for the position, which can be seen in his struggles securing 2nd level blocks or a lack of explosive play strength, but his elite frame and knowledge of the position make him a perfect target for a team’s reserve offensive line unit. Yeah all 3 of those guys have really looked good. I think we likely let Schoen walk after this season because of this.
  5. Eugene Lewis couldn’t hold Kenny Lawlers’s jock. If he wasnt getting beat he was taking PI calls. He’s been good this year, but it was a bad game, it happens. Hopefully he rebounds.
  6. Bonds has been good but he was picked on big time last game. His worst game of the year. Hopefully he rebounds.
  7. Well he was injured for like half the season, and Zach wasnt exactly looking his way very often when he was in the lineup. I think that will change now lol.
  8. MBT's ancestors Friday night when he tried to summon them:
  9. I just re-watched the game, and dear Lord. Im sorry Mr Lawler. I forgot how good you are. It wont happen again. There is no better receiver in the CFL. Period.
  10. Been saying this for a while. Theyre Paper Tigers. Their earlier season record was a sham. Montreal is going to have another cakewalk to the Grey Cup.
  11. I'd very much like for Dolegala to make an appearance mid-way through the 4th quarter with the Bombers up 56-10.
  12. But but but, Miles Brown is a saint! If Jake Thomas tore up Trevor Harris' knee in the same manner they would be screaming for his head on a spike, yet theyve nearly raised enough Go-Fund me money to pay his fine. There are no words to describe how much i hate that f**king fan base. Just koolaid drinking, hypocrite, dipshit, hillbilly, lemmings. F**k each and every one of them.
  13. I hear ya bro. Still remember the 2019 Grey Cup like it was yesterday. One of the greatest nights of my life. Tearing up in the stands with my buddies, high-fiving the players as they walked by, thanking Wade Miller as he walked by visibly crying. The shear joy and relief. Good times man.....
  14. If Ford throws an INT to Ford and then that Ford jukes and then hurdles the other Ford for a TD Suitor will cream his shorts on live nationwide TV.
  15. Itll all come down to the ancestors.....
  16. I'd be shocked if it wasnt MBT starting on Friday. Edmonton needs to win now. But they wont.
  17. Yup. Still trying to figure out what the hell he was doing on the Edmonton Flea-Flicker TD.
  18. Bighill has been done for 2 years now. His injury was an addition by subtraction i hate to say. You know damn well O'Shea would have never taken him out if he hadnt have gotten injured. Time to turn the page.
  19. I still think it was a strange/dumb decision by Edmonton to A: Switch out MBT with Ford during their heater, and B: Tell the world like 2 weeks in advance so we have time to prep. Im quietly quite confident in this game. Collaros has been pretty meh this season, but has been turning it on as of late. Add to that the Elks giving up the most passing yards per game in the entire league.......Just feels like a get right game for Collaros. Im sensing a 300+ yard 3 TD vintage Collaros game saturday. Fingers crossed.
  20. Shohei Ohtani is ridiculous.
  21. Man i miss those days with him and Blink.
