As much as I hate the guy when he plays against us, I don't think anyone can argue that he hasn't embraced this league and is a good ambassador for the CFL. Plus, if he's throwing shade at the Riders I can get behind that.

Boris Bede is a perfect example. He struggled, so they brought in a replacement and now he's "hurt" and on the IR. The 6-game IR is a joke too if you can arbitrarily pull players on and off just to manipulate the salary cap.

And that would be all good if there was someone out there of more value to the team than Willy. I don't see anyone that fills that need right now. As someone else said, if Ben Heenan came out of retirement then obviously the front office needs to re-evaluate but who else is worth that money in this season?

Who would've thought that winning 2 games would bring out so much anger in the fanbase? Can't we all go back to being apathetic where we all agreed that we sucked and got on with our lives? In all seriousness though, who can honestly say that they are more confident in the combined 4 quarters of pro experience behind Nichols if we cut Willy? For all his flaws this year, he presents us with the best chance to win right now in the event of an injury to Nichols. We just don't know what the other guys can do, maybe they would be great. Bomber fans have seen this movie recently though with tepid at best results (Brink, Elliott, Goltz to name a few). How can anyone be comfortable with Davis and Bennett as 2-3 on the depth chart while we are, as of this post, in a playoff spot? Talk to me in week 17 if we end up falling out of it, no use in playing Willy at that point but if we have any hope of getting to the playoffs we need depth back there.

If we throw Loffler out to the wolves in Week 1 and gets shredded, all we would hear is that MOS started a green rookie and our depth sucks because we have to start a rookie at S etc. etc. Let the kid grow into the role and take over when ready. I don't think anyone could have expected him to ascend to where he is now at the pace he has, despite being one of the more pro-ready prospects in the draft.

He looks like he could be an Andre Durie type hybrid. He can takes snaps out of the backfield but has the ability to line up as a SB. Could be a VERY useful player to compliment/spell off Harris or use as an injury backup.

Let's hope that continues when Macho gets healthy. I can't fathom the logic behind starting Macho over Loffler at this point. This will be the litmus test for O'Shea.

Me too, I had season tickets in section J. Some games when that wind would just gust right in your face. Pleasant in July, not so much in November.

Yeah, it's tough to justify sometimes when you see the same poor product every year. I think the disillusionment set in earlier than normal this year after our poor start because it seemed that we had all the pieces to make a playoff run this year and we fell flat right away. Seeing the team finally start to play to the potential it's capable of is renewing the enthusiasm many had and I'm not going to fault anyone for it.
