Really uncharacteristic this year, but definitely should’ve had two of those and their guy stops a breakaway on Ehlers in overtime and Helle unable to match on the two on one. That said, Nik Ehlers could’ve helped him out there… He is not a good finisher on breakaways.

This is 100% true. And it is one of MOS’ most in enduring, abject failures as a coach. His absolutely incredibly idiotic, stubborn insistence to keep his starters in when we’re up 20 points. Losing absolutely critical reps for the guy behind him. then it absolutely bites you in the ass in the most critical game of the year when your starter gets hurt like tonight, or just doesn’t have his game. So ******* stupid.

I think you are overreacting. It is upsetting, for sure. And the coach needs to take his share of accountability for what happened today. Just as does Zach. Maybe it’s fair to say there’s something about this particular combination of coaches and core players that seems to have trouble Executing in the big games? Too obvious? 🙂 At the end of the day O’Shea is still one of the most successful coaches in the history of the franchise and put us in the position to win the whole thing five times in a row… You don’t fire that type of coach. Not when he still getting you to the dance… But some adjustments need to be made. obviously one of his great strengths is he is a culture guy… I just don’t know if he’s much of a strategy guy. Their strategy guy, Dinwiddie, out strategied whoever our strategy guys are. Again, I don’t think that is MOS‘s skill set… But it’s on him to find guys who compete with a guy like Dinwiddie. Keep in mind too MOS has repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly said that he is 110% a Zach guy and has no plans to move on from him… So if you have issues with Zach then you have issues with MOS. No, the players have to take accountability for sure. But It is a shared accountability with the coaching staff. Why would the coaching staff get a complete free pass on a performance like this? again, I am not arguing that it’s not on the players but this is not an either/or occasion it’s a both/and.

Well, he is the head coach of this team. A team that has now lost three straight times in the big game. And since many people, probably including you and me, are willing to give him credit when the team does well, it’s presumably both fair and consistent for him to face some scrutiny and accountability when the team fails, don’t you think?

I think in general you would have to acknowledge we got out coached. I mean, O’Shea sets the culture… But what’s he actually doing in the game? whatever they did at halftime was clearly vastly superior to whatever we did. And, yeah, I was stunned when the back up went in and we had him throwing from down near the 25 yard line rather than giving it to Brady!

Hey Negatron… I get it. You described the feeling really well. I get it, I really do. And yeah, go bombers. Kill the riders. let me just add that I’m really disappointed in Sergio. He has been very good outside of 50 and pretty so so and sometimes flat out bad inside of 50. I mean, let’s be honest, he really played a huge part in both losses to Toronto. He simply has to make kicks inside of 45 yards. I’d really much rather him be 95% inside of 50 and 50% outside of 50 then the other way around. It’s almost to the point when they have a field goal attempt from under 50 yards the bombers might want to request if they can just concede 10 yards so he can kick outside of 50. Put it this way, I’m feeling concerned about our field goal kick as we head into the playoffs.
