Well no, Arbuckle didn't beat us, Osh being Osh beat us. That being said, not thrilled with the Patterson signing, either.

Why would you just bring in 2 players at such an important position knowing you're going to cut them anyway?

It was crazy. It's like Shivers lost his mind. He was just talking trash from the time his team touched down at the airport in Calgary to when the Riders left with their tails between their legs on their short flight to Regina. Shivers started the culture with the fanbase we know & love still to this day with his big mouth.

Dukes hasn't really showed that much. He was pretty meh when he started while Kelly was under suspension. Duke's an undersized qb & lost his backup position to Nick Arbuckle.

I remember Roy Shivers **** all over the Stamps after he left to become GM of the Riders in 1999. You'd think the Stamps kidnapped him from Las Vegas where he lived & put him to work in the salt mines asomewhere the way he talked about his former team. Wally made Shiver's career by taking an unknown scout & making him asst gm. Never did he once thank Buono or the Stamps for giving him his big break. He was all about saying how the Riders were going to destroy the Stamps on the field, which they never did.

The Eagles have a tremendous OL. . Add tto that a running back like Barkley & no one can stop their run game. Our OL is old, we have an undersized & overrated Center in Kolankowski & a Guard in Neuf who has seen better days. No comparison. Having said that, it still was a better alternative running the ball than letting Zach come back in with a badly mangled finger throwing 2 six picks to blow a close game wide open. Cue the Osh smirk.

Never understood why the first thing a player, coach or GM wants to do is stick it to his old team. The one that gave them their start or made a name for themselves. Does Ted Goveia not have evaluation reports on other CFL free agents? BS.

How happy will Brady be sharing the run game with Logan? This is the final year of his two year deal.

He's changed his fundamentals. He doesn't throw the same way he did in 2018 & 19. Strev's not a linear qb anymore. He's now a rotational thrower.

Well, don't hope too much. Buck was a mentor to Hogan. He coached in that offense for years under Buck. Anyone who thinks he'll be vastly different should think again.

I am/was a Shaw customer. My huge peeve is having to wait literally hours to speak to a customer service rep. I've been having billing issues with Rogers/Shaw & I can never speak to anyone. My longest wait time was last November. I phoned at 8 am MST & finally talked to someone around 3;35 PM or so. I had to keep my phone plugged in all day. These big telecommunication giants don't give a **** about their customers once they sign you up.

He never was but when called upon he was a reliable & tough receiver. I thought that when they moved the hash marks closr that we may see him break out but nevr happened.

There's no competition in Canada anymore. Rodgers & Telus have the market. They can pretty well do what they want.

The timing sucked. It's caused problems from what I've read. Teams were unprepared for the news. There's talk of the CFL changing their financial year to after the Grey Cup instead of December 31st to avoid things like this happening again.
