I first got to know Bob Barker in junior high coming home & watching him host Truth Or Consequences back in 1969. I don't remember what the game was about but it was entertaining. I think he asked contestants a question. They had something like 3 seconds to answer if the question was a truth or a consequence. If they were right then there were two drapes named Truth or Consequences & they received whatever was behind the drape. Sometime it was a huge prize like a new car or something small like a blender. Something like that. Looooong time ago.

I never liked Bray Wyatt's persona or what he did on the mic with his Firefly Funhouse. There was rumours he was coming back & I just thought, great he cuts these great rambling nonsensical promos & then loses at almost every pay per view he's on. Like the WWE was just killing his character slowly. The guy was such a talented well rounded wrestler but the WWE had no idea what to do with him. Now to hear he died at age 36 from complications of Covid 19 with a damaged heart is both tragic & sad. RIP William Lawrence Rotunda.

I think I heard Marshall Ferguson say last night's crowd was the biggest for the Argos this season. I have noticed the attendance is more this season than the last few years but still a loooong way to go. Anyone notice that Ferguson kept referring to Jake Maier as the CFL's leading passer? There's more to being the leading passer than just yards. Not having stats is just so bush league.

Calgary can be a good football city but look at all the former Stamp players around the league. The team can't keep free agents & fans feel that the owner Murray Edwards takes them for granted. Apathy has set in. It's sad to see a team who once had 30,000 season tickets 20 years ago only has just a few thousand today. If they had an owner who cared they'd have 25-30,000 per game. Don't necessarily agree. I say necessarily as you're not wrong but there's also other circumstances at play here with bad ownership.

This. Who cares if Liegghio did 3 jobs if with the biggest kick to win the Cup & he missed it. Even Dunigan said at the start of the season that if the kick wasn't blocked, he shanked it left.

Like a lot of GMs & head coaches. Bauer did okay. Getting rid of Dave Ritchie was his mistake. Hiring Mike Kelly was his downfall. I'd also hope that Miller & O'Shea would be willing to take financial haircuts to keep him.

Don't know yet if Brown can put together another big game at qb if Zach is out. (Hoping but not sure). Maier & Dickenson are being skewered by fans on social media for not pushing the ball downfield. Maier may have something to prove to the naysayers in Calgary. Stamps could be highly motivated at home. They have two running backs who are fast in Carey & Mills. A decent receiving corps. I just hope we aren't over confident as we could have the Lions in chase mode the rest of the season if we keep winning.

So Zach goes thru the motions running the plays in his head while Brown actually does it.
