Stamps just suck. There's no character or pride on that team anymore. The fans can see it & are fed up After what happened Saturday night in the Stamps locker room how can you even sell this team to the fans in Calgary anymore? There was a big shouting match in the locker room between Tre Roberson & Josiah Coatney a rookie DL. He was the one who laid out Zach Collaros earlier in the year when we played the Stamps at McMahon Stadium. Apparently, the older Stamps veterans on the team, Michel, Roberson, Beggelton etc are trying to teach the younger players, "The Stamps Way" or how they were taught to be pros by other veterans who they played with as young players. There's still 6 players left from the 2018 Grey Cup Champs. These entitled younger players are having none of it & refuse to listen to the veterans trying to help them. These guys will only do what they want to do & refuse to listen to these "old men". Judging by the comments on social media, some of the younger Stamps fans on X were taking the young players side & calling Roberson an "Old Man who yells at clouds". Beggelton. Michel & Roberson are getting tired of being ignored & things boiled over after their 6th straight loss on Saturday night. so much so that the two players had to be separated. My question is why is it up to the players? It should be up to Dave Dickenson & his staff to establish the culture. Not Roberson or Beggelton. If these players don't care then they should all be released come this off season to send a message, If they don't want to FI then FO. That entire coaching staff needs to go as well. Oh & then there's Defensive Lineman Mike Rose who thinks teammates fighting each other in the locker room in front of everybody including the one or two media members who still follow the team is a good thing. What a dumpster fire. We need to appreciate what we have as a team, fellas....

Young head coaches are a big part of the problem because they're just like their players. Look at how stupid BC Lions DC Ryan Phillips acts on the sidelines with the many ("I can't believe this is happening") faces he makes when things go bad on the field for him. How he seems to mock other teams when his defense gets the upper hand & how he says he encourages his players to act like idiots on the field yapping. A generation ago, these coaches would have been shown the door by their HC or in the case of a mouthy HC, his GM. There seemed to be a lot more decorum & respect for one another back then.

Armstead had a very good game running the ball against a very bad Stamps defense. On close ups, I noticed more than a few times that it looks like he wanted to fight his tacklers on the field. The guy appears to be a walking stick of dynamite ready to go off. Bob Dyce isn't stupid, there was a reason he let a talented back like that go. Of course, Armstead just adds to the negative culture of that team.

Yeah, I remember that. He took a lot of criticism for the way he wore that baseball cap.

Mace is suffering from Devonne Claybrooks Syndrome. Claybrook was rated the best Defensive Coordinator in the league because he had an All Star team of defensive talent around him with the Stamps. He struggled coaching average players as Lions Head Coach. Funny how after he was fired in BC, absolutely no one signed him as their D Coordinator. Just how bad was it inside that locker room at BC Place with him in charge?

These young, inexperienced head coaches in the NFL & CFL. Maybe 20% of them find true success. Mace is just looking like another Craig Dickenson with Brown going after qbs & the signing of the angry Ryquell Armstead. He was one hot tomale of a Defensive Coordinator because when he was in Toronto, Pinball signed every available free agent star on the defensive side of the ball.

Why do I think our defense will continue to play well (we've only given up 274 oints in 13 games) until the playoffs when we'll get crushed? And Walters & Osh coulf have improved it but chose to stand pat all season.

Whether it's an act or not, at least he doesn't pout or sneer like Sir Nathan Rourke does. Adams knows how to be a pro & I admire him for it. My son was a qb at Simon Fraser University. I can tell you that there were times he was very unhappy with some of the shitty coaching decisions he had to endure as a qb. But he still clapped & cheered for his brothers who were playing & trying hard to win even though his guts were torn out. He had to show he supported any decision his HC (& he had 3 of them in 3 years) made even if he didn't agree with it. That's what a good teammate & leader does.

Masoli & Brown laughing & smiling as the RedBlacks are going down for another loss. Don't think the fanbase in Ottawa will like that.

Yeah, I've seen Adams pulled before & he's been on the sidelines clapping & cheering. I don't believe at all that it's a happy qb room right now in BC.

Rourke's body language is interesting. He shows his displeasure & disinterest all the time. He pouts on the sideline when things go bad & smirks when things are going well. He has talent but he has a ways to go to mature into a leader like Adams was until Campbell screwed him.

RedBlacks can look so good in some game & then play like they don't even care in others. Their energy level seems so low today & it has been in all of their losses this season. That has to be a concern going into the playoffs. I don't know if that is coaching or not.

The Lions could lose both of their qbs this off season. Adams is gone & that's a given but I don't think Rourke feels his NFL opportunities are finished. He could also leave again. Imagine that happening.

I usually don't like interviews during a game but I do hope that they talk to Ray Jauch. Marvin Coleman couldn't make the HOF Induction ceremony as his passport didn't arrive in time.

I sure hope Taylor Powell is available this off season.
