Nothing is making that OL look worse. They're doing a really good job of that on their own. I also think that Buck Pierce once thought of as a great young qb coach & OC has gone stale with his playcalling. He's a big part of the overall problem now as well.

I'm not saying the guy can't play qb. All I'm saying was that Streveler struggled as the starter & Collaros was brought in as insurance at the time going into the playoffs in 19. He did have mechanical issues at the time & they were discussed here ad nauseum back in 2018 & 19. Booch & I talked about it quite a bit back then. Now, with 4 years as an NFL qb perhaps his mechanics are better. At least I hope so. Buck Pierce sees him throw everyday so he'd know. Pierce obviously isn't ready to give up on Zach just yet.

When a qb doesn't throw deep posters complain. When a qb throws deep too much then again they complain. It's not a Strawman's argument. It is what it is. We read that here all the time.

Then we had Matt Nicholls & fans here complained he couldn't throw a pass over 20 yards. It just is never good enough.

Streveler can't carry this team. Maybe for a few games but not in the playoffs. We'll be worse off.

Collaros will be on the 6 game IR if they don't figure out their OL blocking & fast. That play where Kolo & Neuf just left their blockers & they sacked Zach was just so sad to see. I mean, some of us laughed because it looked so stupid.... It was so bizarre I watched that play over three times in slo mo just trying to understand what happened. But it won't be funny when our season & any chance of making the playoffs goes down the drain when Collaros is making like a Drew Willy piniatta.

We'll see what coaching tree MOS spawns & how successful it is. So far, after 10 years & barely a root has grown. Three hundred G's for Desjarlais is an overpay. If he was going to live with his GF while she got her medical degree in Ottawa then why offer him so much? That tells me that he'd go for the money first & play elsewhere if he had to. Ottawa should have been able to sign him for $235-250,000 then. My problem is like someone said, you get rid of the previous season deadwood & open up money for these type of signings early in the off season. We never did that. In hindsight, that's probably what we should have done.

Then why did Sean Burke overpay for Desjarlais?

He did alright, He wasn't special. We got beat by an average looking rookie qb last night. That pisses me off as we don't scare anyone.

Burnham should never have been the lead character. Not enough legacy aliens ( Xindi, Andorians, Suliban, etc). Rayner was a better Number One than Saru. They should have switched to episodic after Season 1 which allows for development of characters. If Discovery was episodic, then yes there should have been more episodes. Could you imagine this season's story arc being 22 epsisodes? Fans head would explode out of boredom. Quit the lecturing & give us a great storyline.

I say not likely. The great returners are explosive. One step & they find a seam & run by tacklers. Mitchell has no explosiveness. Seeing Grant is Toronto is crazy. What a slap in the face to all the fans who support this team. He's better than anyone we have. And we had no money for him??? Watch attendance numbers fall off a cliff.
