Those Riders Obsidian green jersey are the most ugliest uniforms. I hear they're wearing those hideous things on Saturday. Why, as the home team do we allow the Riders to wear those at our stadium?

I belong to both but I haven't been on the other site in years. I prefer the discussion here. And unless things have changed, the other site looks old & clunky.

I mean, if I'm a Bomber player, am I going to get upset if I hear Trevor Harris says the Riders will beat us on Saturday? Not really. as a player I have other things to prepare for & worry for.

The way players trash talk nowadays on the field & in social media, does that even ruffle any feathers?

Do you not think that if he could throw that he'd be not be given the chance? What coach in the CFL limits his qbs to be primarily runners if they can actually throw? Buck would then be the first. What has he done? He never did much when given that chance. His athletic ability & toughness kept him on NFL rosters. Not his ability to carve up defenses with his arm in the NFL.

We already know Schmeckel & Thomas will play regularily so we're at a huge disadvantage already.

What proof? Give me your proof? I have zero expectations for Streveler. He is what he is. No wishing that he be given the entire playbook will change anything. Buck ain't stupid. He saw the way he practiced & threw the ball everyday. It's time to move on.

He can't. If Zach goes down for half a season we're hooped. Fans heep saying he needs a chance. Buck & osh see him everyday at practice. They know he can't play the whole playbook. All he is, is a short yardage qb. At 31, now with a leg injury & a lot of mileage on his body his ceiling has already been reached. There are other backups better than him. I have my doubts that he'll be back.

It's hard when Suitor has to do 2 or even 3 games a weekend. He barely has enough time to fly from Vancouver for a Friday evening game to Winnipeg on a Saturday afternoon. Working on a little bit of sleep he has to prepare for the second game on a plane or while waiting at the airport. It affects his commentary & you sure can tell at times that Suitor is unprepared & doing it on the fly. TSN needs one more full time broadcast crew.

i agree. Time to move on with a backup who can actually play the entire playbook.

What does the game title mean?

The Lions rushed 3 & dropped 9 like we do to try to force the run... It didn't work. That's our defense as well. We need to blitz & take our chances. Harris doesn't like to get touched. We have to throw him off his game.

Agreed that Adams got hurt. What Campbell should have done was play Rourke until Adams returned. Then, give the starting qb back to to Adams. Let both qbs compete at practice. Let the trust grow in Rourke. He should have been #2 all season long or until Adams lost his position to bad play. Also, play Rourke is spots to relieve Adams if he was struggling. Other teams had two qbs who could play & other HC's could handle it. Like his father with Tom Wilkinson & Warren Moon.

Yep, Doman may have provided the money to sign Rourke but Campbell was the HC & it's on him how things were handled. Walk the plank.

I hate the Riders. I can't stand them. Rick Campbell sure screwed the Lions when he went with Rourke. They were strutting along in first place & Adams was on pace to throw for 6.000 yards & be the CFL's MOP. Then Rourke gets cut from Atlanta & Campbell shows no loyalty & immediately benches his best player & the team goes into a downward spiral. Even bringing back Adams & benching Rourke today couldn't get the mojo back for the Lions. Campbell cut his team off at the knees. He screwed up. What a horrible decision. He threw the season away. If I was a Lions fan, I'd demand accountability. I'd want him fired.

Same with me. This is my blog as well. I really enjoy talking Bombers & CFL here & say what's on my mind. I do have quite a few comments on X, Facebook & Instagram as well. I use my real name & don't hide behind a pseudonym like here.

Read your comments, Zach. My main issue with MOS is we haven't fielded our best team all year. Why are we playing 10 or 11 starting Canadians at the expense of better American players especially on the defensive line with Canadians Thomas & Schmeckel, two of our "all star" (sarcasm) UNDERperformers constantly getting playing time? They do absolutely nothing out there yet they get playing time at the expense of Woods, Fox & Adams. Our OL same thing. Some of the personnel decisions are just baffling. As far as returners go, Returner Chandler Worthy was on the Stamps PR & released when their season ended. Why wouldn't we pick the guy up for the playoff run? Just put the best team on the field starting 7 Canadians & see what happens.

This looks to be a repeat of last year. Screw over Brady for a qb who put up a ton of yardage but won only 7 games & missed the playoffs. They'll give the MOP to Bo because he's at the sunset of his career & had a "Cinderella" season. Screw Brady over again because that's just how it works.

True but I always felt he was overrated. Again, with his tenure he would have to be one of the highest paid assistants on staff. I think the Stamps want to go cheaper on their assistants. And I truly believe anyone can be a DC genius with the defense he inherited. U Sports with the Dinos or Golden Bears is where Monson should be. The only coach that truly impressed me with the Stamps last season was Nik Lewis. From what I could see, Nik was the only coach that seemed to always be engaging with the players. The other coaaches just seemed to keep their distance on the sidelines. I never once saw OC DelMonaco talk to his qbs during the games. Lewis sure did. More than a few times. I don't know the significance of that but it was just something I noticed on tv.

I have a couple of theories about Killam & Brett Monson & why they were let go. First off, if the owner refuses to hire two people to be GM & HC then why would he continue to pay for those two when ST's & defense aren't very good. With tenure, especially Killam, thy probably make more money than any other assistants. So, why not get rid of them? Why would fans in Calgary want Killam as a HC? He spent over 20 years being a Spcial Teams Coach & Coordinator. He never once talked about moving up to DC. He seemed very satisfied where he was. What kind of a lazy ass HC would he have made anyway? How could he inspire others when he had no desire or inspiration himself?? No desire to leave his comfort zone. Not wanting to stretch himself & go out on a limb as a DC. I think Dickenson saw Killam as an assistant who got too comfortable & lost his edge. Monson inherited a monster defense from Devonne Claybrooks. Once the stars all left, he wasn't capable of rebuilding. it. Monson turned out to be a shitty DC. Monson & Killam would do well in U Sports & that's probably the level they should br coaching at.

Considering our last GC in Winnipeg was 2015, a decade ago, there may be a few of us who won't even be around anymore when the next one is played here. Is that the same dickhead who used to post here??

Being Team President & being Commissioner are like apples & oranges. I think the league will be looking for someone younger who is connected to the sports broadcasting market who is more tech savvy than Ambrosie, Someone who knows & understands marketing & for ways to increase revenues. At least I hope so. Someone closer to Mark Cohon. Status quo won't work.
