Terri Garr had numerous tv roles in the 1960's & 70's. Maybe her most famous was a Star Trek: TOS episode called, "Assignment: Earth". Which involved, time travel, a a human capable of beaming himself all over the universe in seconds using a disguised safe to fight the forces of evil. Yes, a safe where money & valuable documents & jewellery are kept. A human raised by aliens on a hidden world tens of thousands of light years away, a young hippie character (Garr) & a black cat. It was intodruced on Star Trek as an episode during the 1967/68 season after the one hour pilot had been rejected by Desilu Studios & CBS as a sci fi tv series.

Edwards has taken it to another level. How Jay MacNeil could come out with a straight face saying no changes will be made was incredible.

I don't think I've seen anyone screw up a qb situation quite like Campbell. Even worse than Leo Cahill in his first go round with the Argos, He had Joe Theisman going in & out alternating on first & second down with Greg Barton at tines during the 1971 season. It was a clown show.

That is exactly right. Living here, I have friends who have Stamps season tickets. They all said that they're done & won't be renewing. They feel betrayed with what happened & aren't coming back. These are older fans who have been season ticket holders all for over 30 years. They don't feel appreciated anymore. They'll never be back. Younger fans just don't give a damn. Apathetic fanbase. They're now going to follow their favourite NFL team. A lot of Seahawk fans are Calgarians. I assume that is where they'll now spend their money for their football fix. Everybody knows Edwards bought the Stamps as a tax write off. He puts no money into the team, free agents or facilities. We just go from one problem team to another. Ambrosie telling us we have strong ownership is a farce. Calgary is the next tire fire. Way to go CSEC & Murray Edwards. Well done. What a bunch of fools.

They just stepped into big pile of stinking poo with that decision. My Stamps friends here in town have all said they're not renewing. CSEC ownerership is deaf, blind & dumb. Good luck selling whatever they try to do next season to what's left of the fanbase. It's not surprising they kept Dickenson, Noeller. Worst ownership in the CFL. It never hurts to get kids into the stadium. Teams should be building relationships with younger fans. Memories of players & past games help build that relationship. Kids have to see the game in person to fall in love with it. For every one kid that grows up to be a cheap bastard wanting free tickets there'll be three hundred that won't.

Teams like the Stamps & Elks used up that goodwill years ago. The minute teams take their fanbases for granted, the trouble begins. With the Stamps, the fans feel betrayed as the ownership doesn't care. I believe that trust is gone in both Edmonton & Calgary. Getting that trust back will take a long time.

Worried about the Stampeders, gang. Fans were expecting that there would be major changes at the top at GM & HC. Team Prez Jay MacNeil walked out of his office today & said that Dickenson will be back as both HC & GM because he "deserves a chance to turn it around". On social media, fans by the dozens started screaming & posting they're not renewing their season tickets. Considering that there was only about 3,000 season ticket holders to begin with then this is serious ****. Once you lose these fans, it'll be awful hard to get them back. This team could fold. Murray Edwards who owns the Stamps refuses to spend any money on the team. He won't split the GM & HC duties so Dickenson stays. I was thinking today that it's the Calgary Stampeder Alumni who actually run the team. Hufnagel is a consultant who still wields a lot of power. Dickenson is his former OC & qb. Jay MacNeil was Dickenson's Center & Nik Lewis was Dickenson's receiver. Meanwhile STC Mark Killam has been in that position for nearly 25 years so Dickenson was a player on the team when Killam was his coach & then a coordinator under Dickenson. THIS... is exactly why when there is a coaching change, a clean slate is needed to start over so this kind of situation should never be allowed to happen.

Tt's not just big markets. TSN slobbers all over Milligan constantly for MOP. They still think that the Riders are the best fanbase in the CFL.

Zach knows the window for this he & his team will be closing fast. This season may be his final opportunity. I think his attitude is **** 2025. Let's get it done this season & worry about 2025 after we win the Grey Cup in Npovember.

Someone should tell Noeller to enjoy the win & quit overthinking everything. It's no wonder he goes to pieces in big games for the Bombers.

I hate those noise makers in a stadium where everyone sits so close. I almost got into a fisticuff with two fans at Canad Inns Stadium in 1988. One guy was blowing one of those long, blue horn's next to my right ear all damned game. He wouldn't stop blowing it next to my ear despite my asking him to stop repeatedly. He stopped after I slapped the horn out of his hands. .

From what I understand is that he didn't have the confidence of every BOGer. I think a vote of 6 of 9 were needed to give him the boot. So, probably 5 of 9. They really should split the job. Have a marketing President who goes out trying to generate new revenue for the league. As well as a football President who just takes care of football matters on & off the field & negotiates new player agreements.

Cuz the other two qbs they have are absolute ****. And I'm not overstating it one bit. Matt Schilz is injured. his season is over. The Stamps don't have any talent behind Maier.

They are twins. They look alike on the field with the same results. We can only hope that Jake retires this off season.

The two most insufferable CFL fanbases lost games today. It was a great day.
