Is Andrew Harris a free agent? I haven't heard if he signed with the Argos. So much for him stealing Demski away from the Bombers as some poster suggested might happen. I really don't care if Harris plays again or not. The way he left like a prima dona for the Argos. In a few years, I'll be happy for the guy when he goes on the Wall of Fame but not right now as I'm still pissed off how he left.

He stays & he's a sold #3 receiver with 700 plus yards on a playoff team with a legit shot at a GC. He goes to a struggling team looking for a receiver like Edmonton, Ottawa or Saskatchewan & he' still a 700 yard receiver with little or no chance to earn playoff money & win a GC. His choice.

Why? We'll have to pay someone to replace bailey anyway. As Mike said, why sign Collaros to a big contract if he loses his targets? It's Ellingson who will go first as he's expendable. They're hemorraging money losing in the millions. They only average 13-16,000 per game with season ticket sales of about 4-5,000. They've been in trouble financially since the last Als dynasty ended after 2009. The league doesn't have the finanacial resources to support the teaam like it did in 2018-19 because of the pandemic, No one is rushing in to buy the team. Read the stories in the media that are starting to pop up. More & more people are beginning to realize the team may fold. And it's the CFL's fault as it all could have been avoided. The decision to bring in a 90 year old owner was both Ambrosie's fault & the BOG's.

Read this article today from the Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette who is the beat writer for the Als. Read what he has to say about Ambrosie. It's not very complimentary. He places the blame directly on him just like I do. If someone doesn't step up & buy the team then there won't be a team in Montreal as this time it'll fold. Yeah, Ambrosie does have a say & his advice influences the BOG's. He's the point man for the league. He finds potential owners or the potential owners find him. He makes recommendations to the Governors as to who he thinks would be the best ownership for any team on sale. He's supposed to vet the interested parties. Ambrosie says to them when he's ready to do so that, "This is the one". So yes, this fiasco is on him. Bringing in a 90 year old owner & rejecting Eric Deslauriers group in 2020 with French Canadian backers ready to take over was a huge mistake. Ambrosie rebuffed them twice & now it looks like they don't care anymore. Zurkowsky has reported on the Alouettes for many years & was inducted into the Broadcasters & Reporters section of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2008. Greg Olsen is pretty good up in the tv booth & keeps improving as Fox's #1 colour analyst this year with the departure of Aikman. Now, he'll be knocked out of the #1 position himself & replaced by Brady next season. I can see Olsen taking off from Fox when his contract's up as he's getting screwed. A well paid screw job nonetheless but something that could cost him $$$ down the road as an analyst. As far as Brady goes, he better be good or fans will mock him mercilessly on social media. Doing tv is an entirely different playing field than the gridiron.

Starting to look more & more like the Andrew Harris situation from last year. Although the Bombers had more concerns about the physical shape of Hatrris than they do about Demski.

His skills were eroding but he didn't have a great team around him last year. He needs, a very good OL, a productive running back, a possession receiver like Gronk when healthy & a deep threat downfield. Into the Fox broadcast booth.
