You know, until you mentioned it, I hadn't noticed. Singh is like the last pick in the 7th round of the NFL Draft. He's Mr. Irrelevant. The deal to support the Liberals is like him beating Tom Brady today. Personally, I have about as much respect for Singh as most of you do for Smith. I don't like him. And for the record, I don't like Smith either as she's handing the province back to the NDP.

2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)

Again, if you do things half assed then this is what happens. Both JOD & especially Dickenson threw his assistants under the bus for his mistakes tnhat he refused to be accountable for. Those guys should have been fired & they weren't. If the HC doesn't have his assistants backs then no one will want to work for those guys. The Riders deserve everything that happens to them. -
What closeted racism since the video doesn't play? Like I said, you guys are foaming at the mouth over everything she says. This is the point. To get under your skin the way the PQ & BQ does. That is the whole point of Smith & the UCP.

Yet suddenly the Bombers are in a financial crunch.... -
You are all losing your minds over something that is never going to happen. They can't redraw boundaries into other provincial jurisdictions. Relax for crissakes or get a funny bone. This is all comedy relief.

Don't Look Back - 2022/2023 Bombers Off Season

I'd say Huff is by far the highest paid executive in the CFL. Dickenson is on his 2nd HC contract now. Pinball doesn't come cheap. We know the Argos don't underpay for their HC & Coordinators. BC has 2 GM's. BC also pays their HC Campbell very well. I think the only two teams who may underpay are the RedBlacks & Riders. Sean Burke & Bob Dyce don't strike me as two guys that other teams would have overpaid to sign. JOD & dickenson couldn't work for other teams in the same capacity. -

Funny how you don't hear this problem with the Stamps. How much is Hufnagel & Dickenson making? -

WTF is Hodge doing? What a greasy comment that was. Claiming Miller is "non committal" about Walters. Trying to create a controversy that isn't there. Just another fanboy masquerading as a journalist. -

What a dog's breakfast that is. Calvillo, is he ready?? He would be the obvious choice. Noel Thorpe has always been a bridesmaid but never a bride. Close but no cigar. Is now his time? Maas temper will be his undoing. I can't see him ever being a HC in the CFL, again. Especially after what happened in saskatchewan. The other 2? Who cares?? -

Based on one game? C'mon. Where's he going to have even a snownball's chance in Hell of being a starter? As Bob Irving would have said, "One game does not a starting quarterback make". -
Thought I'd share this from my Facebook page... That picture with the little booth looks scary. I have a major fear of heights. Peter Young is with Mike Kelly and 9 others . eSdnotposr05uh279aut1t12h109hg01u32ch865g47ia62h06tl4hg69uc4 · Boy this photo from Al Nickel sure brought back some great memories. In the five seasons in the late 70's that I did the play by play broadcasts of the CFL on CTV it seemed like we did almost every BC Lions home game. Obviously because the network tried to schedule an east and west game on the same night. One year we did 6 of the Lions home games. OK, the significance. See the red circle I put on the photo. Blow that up on your device and you'll see a little white broadcast booth (shack). That's where we called the games. On the freakin roof. To get there (again blow up the picture) we had to climb straight up a steel ladder from the level below, walk along one of those wooden pathways to get to the booth. Camera guys had to hoist those huge studio cameras up through the hole with ropes. I did two years of games from that perch with colour commentator Fred Fleming and three years with the late Frank Rigney. At halftime, if you had to pee, you had two options....climb down the steel ladder, stand in line with fans who had been drinking beer and hope you made it back for the second half OR...what we did....just walk out of the booth...AND PEE ON THE ROOF.

What poll, Noeller? This was the last poll I had heard & it wasn't promising for Smith or the UCP... https://calgarysun.com/opinion/columnists/bell-danielle-smith-wake-up-leger-poll-says-youre-losing-calgary

I want a kicker that kicks good. -
Alley's health has always been kinda questionable with her weight issues the past 25 years. It's sad she passed away but hardly surprising.

It's about making kicks in the clutch during big games when the pressure is on. Kickers are going to miss but the great ones make the ones that truly count. Castillo five FGs in 2021 GC. Medlock before him in 2019. -

And we would be foolish to keep Liegghio over a kicker the caliber of Ward. If we did it would be strictly a money decision & usually cheaping out doesn't work well as you get what you pay for. Personally, I don't see Ward ever coming here as he's from the Ottawa area so that scenario will probably never happen. The decision was made to let Castillo go to free agency. A mistake just like letting Alden Darby going to Hamilton. -

And if a makeable FG from under 45 yards sails wide on the last play of the Western Final & we lose, what do you say then? If Ward wants to come here, it would be total insanity to say Liegghio deserves another chance. What this shows me is just how strong mentally Justin Medlock was when he played here. he could go on a tear & kick 20 straight, miss one & then go on another streak. He was unflappable. That's not easy. -
As you say, we domn't need that many unless dome key vets decide to play elsewhere that they weren't expected to. At least one big inside DT, one OLB & a DB or two. Offense depends upon what Dalton Schoen does. Maybe we bring in Lawler. hopefully we re-sign janarion Grant. If a quality FA kicker becomes available he should be brought in as well. That's about it. Not a lot of FA's.

That is a very interesting premise. Thank you. I have to digest that a bit.

Harris can act like he took the GC away from the Bombers by playing in the championship game all he wants but it was just a one off performance. No way the guy can play even 6 or 7 games in a row without being injured or fading away performance wise. He'll go on the Bomber Wall of Fame someday & deservedly so but he didn't contribute very much to the Argos this season. Walters made the right choice. Bye,

If Macrion is a conservative then Pollievre is a Liberal. Sources have described the Rennaissance Party as centrist, center-right & "Big Tent". Macron has described the Rennaissance Party as being a progressive party of the left & right. Observers & political commentators have described the party as being socially liberal as well as economically liberal in ideology. Sounds like a Brian Mulroney Progressive Conservative "Big Tent" coalition of Conseervativest & left (NDP) along with separatists (mostly in Quebec) during the mid 1980's. That coalition lasted 2 elections & started crumbling almost immediately. Pierre Bouchard stuck a fork in it in 1990.
