I think if you asked Singh he'd say this is going on too long. I don't know what Singh expected from Trudeau but I doubt he gets it. If things don't start moving on these political fronts soon I could see this agreement starting to crumble by 2024. Trudeau may not care as he may step down as Liberal leader/Prime Minister. Maybe take a walk in the snow. I'd like to see some help for seniors with pharmaceutical & dental as we're on a fixed income so I'd support a national plan for both.

2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)

Deserving means nothing. The coaching road is strewn with the bodies of nice guys who couldn't cut it. I'm not a fan of this choice as Dyce as an interim coach for the Riders & RedBlacks never really made a difference to show he deserved the permanent role with Ottawa. i think Mark Washington should have been given the role. The RedBlacks are just a rudderless team. It'll be interesting to see who comes in to fill the role of OC to coach Massoli or will he keep Will Arndt in the role? -
What progressive change? Universal child dental coverage? Most Canadian families won't qualify or the benefit so what's the point? Where's the universal prescription plan Trudeau promised Singh? Where's the universal dental for everyone? Singh is a rube. The Liberals will never bring in a national dental or pharmacare program. Singh looks like a fool as he props up the Trudeau Liberals while Justin, Katy & Gerald laugh in the background.

How does Ottawa think that Corey Mace is even close to being ready as HC material?? Bob Dyce is meh- He's a nice guy but not a difference maker as a HC. At least not as much of a difference maker to turn that RedBlacks team around. He was the interim coach in Saskatchewan & Ottawa & the teams never improved much. Mark Washington may be the best of the 3. Mace reminds me of Devonne Claybrooks who was a lot better coach becuase of the talent surrounding him in Calgary. When he got to BC as HC he was absolutely lost because the talent on that team wasn't there as he had with the Stamps. He just wasn't ready to take on being a HC. I often wonder what the hell is the huge rush to promote young coaches from being a player to a position coach to a head coach in 5 years or less? I do agree that being a HC in the CFL is the pinnacle position an assistant would aspire to. But these coaches need to put the brakes on. Get the experience & pay their dues first. There's a big difference if a coordinator takes 10 years to become a HC & then is successful in the long run. Or is hurried along after maybe 4-6 years after being a player to quickly go up the coaching ranks & becoming a CFL HC. Then absolutely bomb on a bad team that needs rebuilding. of all those guys Mace is the least exoerienced with just one year as a DC under his belt in Toronto. I doubt if he's ready. -
Virden now has a Popeye's. Good times, good times. The nightlife in that town rivals Regina.

Will this country be together in another 50 years? I have my doubts. Not with the dumbass politicians we have & will probably continue to have running things now & in the future. Too much frustration. Too much anger.

I don't know which is crazier. The name of the team or that comment. Leonard Asper stepped down as President & CEO of Canwest Global in 2010.

What a mistake that would be hiring the human version of Mauna Loa. Maas has proven in Edmonton that he's not HC material. But I guess the OBN is alive & well in the CFL. -

Living here for 32 years, I don't understand why the politicians hands are tied. As far as Calgary & a new stadium is concerned. using the words "Calgary" & "New stadium" in the same sentence is an Oxymoron. I'll also say it in the language that the Mayor of Halifax uses when describing if they'll build a new stadium there. "There is no political will to build it". Sadly, I can't see that changing as long as Murray Edwards owns the Stamps through CSEC.

The OC has to take responsibility for that play as he's the guy who sent in Prukop. So, it's all on Buck. However, as I've said & others agreed, one learns more from a single mistake on a play than 10 successful plays in a row as a coach. Buck will learn from it & be better for it.

Freespeaker84 @freespeaker84 Replying to @FarhanLaljiTSN and @CFLonTSN It's funny though- had Buck Pierce agreed, the Bombers could've re-hired Paul LaPolice to replace him! 12:50 AM · Nov 30, 2022·Twitter Web App -

I've said this about a hundred times. Here goes 101... His Interior DL in front of him wasn't as good at stopping the run as it was in 2021. No Stevie Richardson or Kongbo as they had departed. Jeffcoat was out for stretches this year as well. That left it up to the interior linebackers to step up into the A & B gaps themselves to stop the run. Play after play for 18 games. Just look at the injuries back there. Shore up the DL & watch our defense bounce back & play better. Biggie & everybody else. -

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear. My condolences. No wonder Ottawa has struggled on the field when they hire a HC based on one game. -

That's an interesting story. Being a senior, I've actually wondered the same thing. I, unfortunately have arthtis in most joint primarily below the waist so I've had more surgeries than most people have had. I can walk without pain whereas before my first knee replacement just taking single steps hurt so much. My right knee was in such bad shape by 2019, I couldn't walk down a flight of stairs anymore in a forward direction as it was too painful. Instead I learned to grab the handrail tight & walk down backwards. I've had foot surgeries, shoulder replacement, toe surgeries as well as one right knee replacement. Over time, I lost my mobility because of the surgeries, They took their toll on me physically. I can walk slowly over short distances with no pain using a cane for balance. If I hadn't have had these surgeries I'd have been in a far worse place & confined to a wheelchair. The day of surgery more than once I wondered if I was going to wake up. What a thing to think about. As if I didn't have enough pre surgery stress & nervousness to deal with. -
I can say this re-reading the comments about the Prukop pass. It was an incredibly stupid play call. I firmly believe that it cost us the Grey Cup. Usually a play call like that with such serious consequences would cost an OC his job because of such a poor decision & he'd be fired. However, neither I or anyone else want to see Buck go anywhere. I put that decision down to Buck still learning his position as a coordinator. He made a mistake. Hopefully, he'll learn from it & be a better coach for it in the future.

That was the TSN Turning Point. We never recovered. The Argos rallied & won.

Yeah, I like Tulsa King. Stallone's playing his character Dwight Manfredi like his Rocky character. Kind of tongue in cheek & funny. Which Stallone fans love. There'll be some dark moments I believe but I can't see that as taking anything away from the series as I think it'll be a hit. It's a gangster/mafia show so there'll be guys getting whacked. As for Yellowstone Season 5, like WTH??? Where is it? It's supposed to be on the Paramount Network right now but they're only showing replays of older episodes. I don't get what is going on with the Paramount Network. AFAIK, the show hasn't been moved to Paramount +. Why they say new episodes are being shown but aren't doesn't make any sense.

Weather & field conditions. The other teams weren't any screaming hell either. Besides, we blew the Grey Cup by shooting ourselves in the foot. The Prukop interception changed the outcome of the GC game.

I'm lucky that my wife is an RN so I have an advantage when it comes to post surgical recovery. I'm sorry that you had to wait that long for a new knee. MY surgery on my right knee will be only a 10 month wait as I am having my second surgery with the same surgeon. Plus, he's been wanting to replace my left knee as it's a real mess physically. He made sure that I'd be able to get it done whenever I was ready to do it. In other words, I didn't have to be referred again or drop to the bottom of the line for surgery. -
I sit in the upper deck Sec 208 & it's cramped & crowded in the concourse but they have tv screens for fans stuck in line getting concessions. I wish they'd have designed the upper concourse wider & had it open like the lower bowl. But that would have meant the stadium would have been larger & higher to open it up so it would have cost more money. Conservative politicians & taxpayers at the time were bitchibng about cost overruns so they had to cut back.
