As a wrestling fan, it's refreshing not having McMahon around anymore.

I would expect the Bombers are preparing for the upcoming off season where as we are Grey Cup hosts in 2025 to aggrssively upgrade our team on both sides of the ball on the LOS & at LB. As well as punt & KO return on ST's. We may see turnover at the qb position. If not QB1 then QB2.

Both Philpotts just can't stay healthy over an 18 game season. Then up to 3 playoff games & Grey Cup. Physically they can't stand up to the pounding. U Sports is just 6 games plus playoffs. Most people still have regular channels that aren't cable, don't they? Some stream but not the majority.

I believe he has retired. Hasn't played since 2021 & had two achilles injuries back to back. One while rehabbing to come back. They do have to worry about the pass. If Ford is benched them MBT comes in & is capable of throwing for 250-300 yards in a half. The Elks will be a tough team to defend as the Bombers will have to be ready for both qbs.

If I was him, every minute I had some time to spare. I'd be working on strengthening my hands & speed work. Like boxing or MMA. Stuff you can do on your own.

With his injury history, I'd be afraid to sign Masoli with our OL right now.

Raw going to 2 hours this January. I'd say more layoffs coming. They can't possibly use all the wrestlers on the roster in a 2 hour show.

I don't agree with that. Talent wise, we're doing alright. Yeah, I'd like to see it better at qb but look around at the USFL. Those qbs aren't great either. The NFL has taken all the best qbs & either rostered them or put them on practice rosters league wide.

There is no atmosphere at McMahon. It's a Dead Zone. The team is losing fans with evert loss as nothing ever changes. The fans are like Zombies. The owner is a Phantom. No one has ever seen Murray Edwards as he lives in Switzerland & has renounced his canadian citizenship so he doesn't have to pay income tax. He's owned the team for somethuing like 10 years & in that decade I don't believe that he has ever been to a Stamps home game. He owns 4 separate pro teams in cluding the Flames here. Each one has an appointed Pres.... err Murray Edwards Mouthpiece to spread the propaganda that he serves up to the sports fans of Calgary.

The OL has been the big problem all season. Until the coaches get that straightened around we'll continue to struggle.offensively That's all private info. It's never discussed publicly.

The funny thing about the ownership in Calgary with football. Murray Edwards the Stamps owner refuses to put a penny on a new stadium because it's owned by the U of C. Run by a non profit Corp called the McMahon Stadium Society. So, when it comes to football he won't spend a cent. The new arena for the Flames is not owned by him either. It's owned by the City of Calgary. He will own all parking, concessions, all merch sold & revenue from all other concerts there. In return, he'll provide maintenance for the new building over the life of the 30 year lease. Edwards won't do that for McMahon Stadium. I guess there are no revenue streams available from that old dump to make it worthwhile. Edwards could get the ball rolling on a new stadium away from the U of C where he could be the sole owner or work out a deal similar to that of the new Flames arena. He doesn't want that, either. You wonder why he bought the team in the first place. I think he should sell to someone who is interested in making the Stamps a much better organization. Probably wants $30 million.

As you know, I can't stand Scarf Boy. I think he's a useless ****. I just hope that his act is wearing thin with the Governors.

No suspension for Brown. I'm hoping that Miller's public criticism of Ambrosie marks the beginning of the end of his reign of error. I notice Miller didn't get fined. I don't think he'd dare fine him with the influence he has with the other BOG's.

You know, I respected your football knowledge before but now?? Off the charts, wbbhan. Great description of defensive fronts & recap of the history of our defense since 2019. That is a must read for any Bomber fan wondering what happened to our crushing defensive philosophy in 2019 & 2021. No idea why the Bombers went away from this philosophy to what we have now. We have a few outstanding posters here who should be coaching young players & developing them. Hint, hint. .

The coaches don't talk to the media let alone the fans about these kinds of things. There's seems to be a lot of mistrust & contempt for (what's left of) the locsl media by Osh's coaching staff. Don't know why as I think the media in Winnipeg has been very supportive of the Bombers & Osh since 2018..

They're doing some strange hings in Stampsville. Diedrick Mills left the team a month ago for personal reasons. He came back lastr week & Dickenson puts him on the PR. They need the guy in the backfield desperately & it looks like he's being punished.

You can't have a tandem block on the LOS. No double teaming. Someone blocks a guy high while another chop blocks the legs. Leaves the player defenseless to injury. I think Bighill's block was legal.
