I do. I remember when Arndt played for BC & Ottawa. He was your typical CFL back up who struggled at times but then showed brief glimpses of glory. As a coach, I think he had a lot of potential to be an OC in this league someday. But he still has the bug to play. I wish the guy all the luck. My son blew out his hamstring in the off season at SFU training going into his senior year in 2015. He couldn't run. It never healed properly & still bothers him today. He needs surgery. But at 32, he can get it done whenever he wants so he's not in a hurry. He wanted to keep playing but was forced to stop. That injury cost him the chance to be the starter in 2015. In limited playing time he tossed just one TD pass. Not the way Tyler wanted to go out as a player. He had plans to go to Europe to play (maybe) in Germany but couldn't go with his injured eg. So good for Arndt, He's healthy & can still do it so why not? He controls his own destiny. If things don't work out as a player, in the XFL or USFL then maybe gettimg a job as a qb coach in the NCAA next year. Or going back to the CFL.

Like the article stated, Putin was counting om Trumpers winning big in the mid terms but that didn't happen. Trump may never be President again. (We can only hope).

What I took from that article is that it's saying the Russians can't win the war. The hatred for the Russians goes back many centuries. From conquering Russian armies of the past to the Holdomor in 1932-33, the resolve of the Ukrainians is too great. My Uncle came from the Ukraine. He emigrated to Canada after World War 2 & married my aunt who was also Ukrainian but born & raised in Canada. I knew of this Ukrainian hatred of Russians back 50 years ago whenever he spoke about Russians with much contempt. I think had he owned a gun & knew a Russian was approaching him on the streets of Winnipeg back then he'd have shot him dead without any guilt, sorrow or misgivings. The Russian could be a total stranger. It didn't matter. His hatred was that strong. Now the war is fueling that same hatred to a new generation of Ukrainians. The question is, will NATO countries keep supplying the Ukraine with weapons to fight? The Ukrainians can't drive the Russians out without help from NATO countries. The support is crucial or the Bully wins.

Those aerial shots of Mosaic Stadium show just how small Regina is. Roads & railway lines go straight to the horizon & disappear seemingly to nowhere.

We've experienced the same thing. It seems when an appliance of ours failed it always was at the worst possible time. My wife & I are just going to sit down for our turkey dinner. Quiet Xmas this season with just us. Hopefully, we'll fly to Seattle next year for Xmas. I'd prefer to drive based on what is going on with stranded flyers & cancelled flights. However, then there's blizzards to deal with driving thru the mountains in BC & Washington.

Politics. Wilson was drafted & Streveler is a free agent signing. If Strev could throw he'd be a starter down there. He can't make all the throws. Same issues as always. Just like Tim Tebow. There is a coaching term for throwing off balance. Once a qb leaves the pocket & throws on the run it's now called "throwing off platform". Collaros has changed his throwing fundamaentals. He throws the New Way as it's being called as it's so new. Just like Mahomes, Burrows, Hurts, Murray, Tua in Miami, Rodgers, Herbert & Wilson do. He made the change & has really found success with the Bombers. Kids now want to throw like that. They're being trained to do so.

Watch a game from the 60's with 6 teams. Or with 12. Quality of play was outstanding,. The 80's were all out offense. No defense.

Hellebuyck is considered one of the top goalies in the NHL & yet he gives up way too many of these shitty goals & they are momentum killers. Every damn time. Fans today say that goalies today are better than their counterparts from years ago but I don't believe it. I watched the NHL since I was a kid. There's absolutely no way goalies like Dryden, Cheevers, Esposito, Meloche, Bower, Giacomin, Hall, Plante, Sawchuk, Crozier gave up so many bad goals so often. Those guys could go years without giving up garbage goals like that. But today's NHL is all about 6'5 inch goalies that flop around on their knees trying to block shots with their oversized pads only to get beat high on the stick side.

Zach Wilson is a brutal qb. He got his money. He should give it back.

Being a qb who becomes a coach after his playing days doesn't guarantee his success either. Your Fajardo analogy could be right or could be wrong. He might be a failure or he may be a success. Recycling coaches just gives us the same old stuff. Every team runs the same typr of plays. Nothing new or innovative. Bringing in a guy like Allen would be an interesting decision for sure. Just to be clear, I'm simply playing the role of Devil's Advocate here for discussion purposes only. A head coach has to want to bring Damon Allen in. So far, no one has even considered him for any coaching position in the CFL. I'm not advocating for Allen. I don't know & have never met him. It's just an interesting thing to talk about. A Head Coach would only do this if he knew Allen & was confident in his abilities to put together a competent playbook & call the plays.

Whatever happens, happens. I'm getting tired of panic setting in everytime a headline or story comes out like this. I get my flu as well as Covid booster shots, I carry hand sanitizer & try to stay away from crowds unless it's outdoors like a Bomber game. That's all I can do. I'm getting on with my life. My hope is Xi Ping catches Covid & croaks. Now, that would be good news.
