Living here for 32 years, I don't understand why the politicians hands are tied. As far as Calgary & a new stadium is concerned. using the words "Calgary" & "New stadium" in the same sentence is an Oxymoron. I'll also say it in the language that the Mayor of Halifax uses when describing if they'll build a new stadium there. "There is no political will to build it". Sadly, I can't see that changing as long as Murray Edwards owns the Stamps through CSEC.

The OC has to take responsibility for that play as he's the guy who sent in Prukop. So, it's all on Buck. However, as I've said & others agreed, one learns more from a single mistake on a play than 10 successful plays in a row as a coach. Buck will learn from it & be better for it.

I've said this about a hundred times. Here goes 101... His Interior DL in front of him wasn't as good at stopping the run as it was in 2021. No Stevie Richardson or Kongbo as they had departed. Jeffcoat was out for stretches this year as well. That left it up to the interior linebackers to step up into the A & B gaps themselves to stop the run. Play after play for 18 games. Just look at the injuries back there. Shore up the DL & watch our defense bounce back & play better. Biggie & everybody else.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear. My condolences. No wonder Ottawa has struggled on the field when they hire a HC based on one game.

That's an interesting story. Being a senior, I've actually wondered the same thing. I, unfortunately have arthtis in most joint primarily below the waist so I've had more surgeries than most people have had. I can walk without pain whereas before my first knee replacement just taking single steps hurt so much. My right knee was in such bad shape by 2019, I couldn't walk down a flight of stairs anymore in a forward direction as it was too painful. Instead I learned to grab the handrail tight & walk down backwards. I've had foot surgeries, shoulder replacement, toe surgeries as well as one right knee replacement. Over time, I lost my mobility because of the surgeries, They took their toll on me physically. I can walk slowly over short distances with no pain using a cane for balance. If I hadn't have had these surgeries I'd have been in a far worse place & confined to a wheelchair. The day of surgery more than once I wondered if I was going to wake up. What a thing to think about. As if I didn't have enough pre surgery stress & nervousness to deal with.

I can say this re-reading the comments about the Prukop pass. It was an incredibly stupid play call. I firmly believe that it cost us the Grey Cup. Usually a play call like that with such serious consequences would cost an OC his job because of such a poor decision & he'd be fired. However, neither I or anyone else want to see Buck go anywhere. I put that decision down to Buck still learning his position as a coordinator. He made a mistake. Hopefully, he'll learn from it & be a better coach for it in the future.

That was the TSN Turning Point. We never recovered. The Argos rallied & won.

Yeah, I like Tulsa King. Stallone's playing his character Dwight Manfredi like his Rocky character. Kind of tongue in cheek & funny. Which Stallone fans love. There'll be some dark moments I believe but I can't see that as taking anything away from the series as I think it'll be a hit. It's a gangster/mafia show so there'll be guys getting whacked. As for Yellowstone Season 5, like WTH??? Where is it? It's supposed to be on the Paramount Network right now but they're only showing replays of older episodes. I don't get what is going on with the Paramount Network. AFAIK, the show hasn't been moved to Paramount +. Why they say new episodes are being shown but aren't doesn't make any sense.

I'm lucky that my wife is an RN so I have an advantage when it comes to post surgical recovery. I'm sorry that you had to wait that long for a new knee. MY surgery on my right knee will be only a 10 month wait as I am having my second surgery with the same surgeon. Plus, he's been wanting to replace my left knee as it's a real mess physically. He made sure that I'd be able to get it done whenever I was ready to do it. In other words, I didn't have to be referred again or drop to the bottom of the line for surgery.

I sit in the upper deck Sec 208 & it's cramped & crowded in the concourse but they have tv screens for fans stuck in line getting concessions. I wish they'd have designed the upper concourse wider & had it open like the lower bowl. But that would have meant the stadium would have been larger & higher to open it up so it would have cost more money. Conservative politicians & taxpayers at the time were bitchibng about cost overruns so they had to cut back.

All that work to qualify just to play 2 games & score one goal. Yep, TSN & the national media had pumped expectations of Canadians a lot higher.

What's wrong with knee replacements?? Says the guy who had his right knee replaced in 2019 & is scheduled for my left to get done in the New Year sometime.

Medical sales is a pretty good job. The reps make $60-80,000 a year with pension, company car & benefits & they're not just selling band aids. Some work with physician & surgeons selling new equipment & technologies into hospitals & clinics. Those reps make well over a hundred thousand. My brother was a pharmaceutical rep for 35 years. I tried getting into pharmaceuticals when I was in my late 20's back in the 1980's. Never was able to do it, unfortunately. I had an Arts degree & not a Science degree.

Guys, if some of you like 17to85 think I've lost my marbles then please remember that I'm just playing Devil's Advocate for discussion purposes. I presented a POV about Dru Brown that some or maybe all of you don't agree with. However, that's okay as it's all in fun. Maybe I stirred the pot a bit but that's why we're here, right? I don't feel I'm wrong but I won't defend my opinion like it's my life or anything else other than we're having a chat here. So again, if anyone disagrees it's just my opinion.

If we didn't have bad luck with those older guys we'd have no luck at all. Schoen was absolutely brilliant.

Again, I'm not saying we get rid of Brown so just relax. I'm just saying I'd like the Number 2 position to be solidified. There's no way Brown's ready to be a full time starter if Collaros suffers a long term injury. But doesn't it scare you in the least that we had a great team that went 15-3 this past season & we had experience & depth at virtually every position except one? Fans of opposing teams are just waiting for that one hit that could turns a 15-3 team into a 5-13 team. And you can't say it can't happen. There's all kinds of championship ready teams that had their dreams derailed by injuries. With all the injuries we suffered on defense this past season imagine throwing a serious Collaros injury into the mix? It would have been a disaster. That's how fast things can change for a team. We all hope Zach never gets hurt again seriously because if he does it's probably over.
