  1. Edem is this tough talking trash talking player who always get hurt. He was road graded.
  2. Kill zem. The Stamps OL is dominating the Riders DL. The pompous asshats look pretty below average today,
  3. Even if Harris wins a Grey Cup the Argos paid waaaaaaaaaay too much.
  4. Lots of big plays in the Als-Argos game. TSN talking about Harris coming back. if he does, he'll be fresh for the playoffs & could be a factor. If we played them in the GC & the Argos won, the man would be absolutely insufferable.
  5. Who the frick is Lindsay Hamilton???
  6. I never said that but sometimes you gotta take one for the team.
  7. How can you even compare the two? Demski is younger & in his prime. He's not trying to squeeze one last big payday out of Walters. He'll get what he wants because he's an impact player. There's no question about his durability like Harris had. Demski's signing would be a priority whereas Harris wasn't. Totally different.
  8. You are a Super Fan!! Good on ya!!! Glad we ran into each other at the Banjo Bowl.
  9. I've sat in plenty of cold weather games in my time. Like the 1972 Western Final when the temp at game time was minus 21C. Rain games, snow games, sleet games, blazing sun games, windchill games. If the elements give the Bombers an advantage, I'm all for it. If you can't hack it then you stay home. Have a hot toddy by the fire watching the Bombers on tv.
  10. Ha, ha, You should see Calgary & Southern Alberta today.
  11. I'm fired up. Waiting for the Western Final!!
  12. Demski's not going anywhere.
  13. When you go to bed tonight, don't forget to dream.
  14. Suitor drooling over the prospect of Nathan Rourke returnning next week.
  15. Does Dane Evans shave his head or is he actually bald? What a pasty white chrome dome.
  16. Fans should watch the old games & see the legends do their thing. Some of those players were good enough to be stars today. A player that really impressed me with his toughness & quickness was Winnipeg native Billy Cooper who played for the Rough Riders. He was athletic, quick & agile. He was a backup receiver but the Rough Riders primary punt returner. Easy to see why. In an era where the punt returners had no blocking... it was 12 to 1, Cooper broke a punt return for 20 some yards. Ottawa receiver Margene Adkins had very good hands & was a burner. For Toronto, players that stood out for me were Fullback Bill Symons & QB Tom Wilkinson Yep, have to wonder about the advice Desjarlais getting from those around him like his agent, close family & friends.
  17. There's no "brilliant strategy" for our nutcase Premier. You give her waaaaaaay too much credit. She's been drinking the Ivermectin...
  18. Dickenson lied. That's all there is to it.
  19. I watched a CFL game on You Tube from September of 1969 yesterday. It was a CBC production, It had all the commercials & halftime show. Just like someone from that era would have seen the game if they were sitting watching in their living room. Argos @ Rough Riders September 13, 1969. Check it out. During halftime, they had the "athletic trainer" for the Argos talking about injuries. They had Argos receiver Bobby Taylor being treated on television for a rotator cuff injury he had. The description of the injury including massage & manipulation of the joint as well as treatment using ultra sound & electrical stimulation (an early form of TENS). Taylor sat there while being treated saying very little as the therapist described what he was doing. In today's CFL, you'd never see that. Teams wouldn't allow their players on television to discuss their injuries. Let alone treat them publicly. Especially O'Shea. I just found it very interesting the way things have changed in regards to injuries in half a century.
  20. Lirim, where the **** are you????
  21. Ellingson was lighting it up until he got hurt & then that was it.... Then the lights went out. Nothing. Never to be heard from again. Our luck with older free agent receivers over 30 isn't very good. We need to concentrate on younger free agent receivers like Jaelin Acklin & not Greg Ellingson. I'm thinking Kenny Lawler will be back next season. I had this same discussion earlier this season & was told by posters here that it was none of my business what player injuries are as they are private. MOS is doing a great job protecting his players. End of story.
  22. Has he, though? I don't see it. Evans is brutal. Asof now, he's become a chronic backup with little upside. He's got all the tools but the tools ain't in the toollbox (his head).
