  1. You don't need the height in the NFL anymore. The game is changing. Teams need athletic qbs qho have a quick releases & can throw in any arm slot (high, medium & low). Or when DC's figure him out.
  2. They govern with a minority like Trudeau should be doing now. Like Harper did until he got a majority government. No opposition party will risk bringing down the government for at least 2 - 21/2 years anyway & bring the wrath of canadians down with another election. .
  3. Tracker, I think violence is inevitable. This country has become too polarized. Sorry, if I sound too negative. It's just how I see it.
  4. The only way this ever changes is if Trudeau resigns, the government stops hammering us about climate change & stops taxing us to death. And Jagmeet Singh quits complaining about the Liberal government on social media but keeps Trudeau in power in Parliament. We've have the highest inflation rate in 45 years, government services have virtually stopped functioning like getting passports & airports are a mess. People's budgets & discretionary spending are limited. No one is getting ahead anymore. A lot of Canadians live paycheque to paycheque. Something that was worth X yesterday is now worth Y today. Actually, it could get worse if someone like Chrystia Freeland, Steven Guilbault, Melanie Joly, Francois Phillipe-Champagne, takes over & continues on with the same agenda Trudeau is pushing through now. The Genie is out of the bottle. I think it's too late. The mistrust of government has never been as high as it is now. More & more people will become radicalized & emboldened to perhaps try to overthrow the Canadian government. I don't support armed insurrection. I support a change of government on Election Day through the democratic process. A growing number of Canadians are losing patience. They don't feel they are being heard or they believe that political Elites run the country. At some point, they may be willing to do acts of violence to make that happen.
  5. I think I read somewhere a couple of years ago that O'Shea isn't interested in scouting, player personnel or being a GM.
  6. hey TBurgess, use the calculator on your phone. I won't say any more. I'll let you figure out the rest.
  7. I can assure you I'm not cheering for him. So, there are plenty of fans here who are pissed off at the Rider organization. Doesn't matter what the reason is, they're pissed off. Why is that okay?
  8. He's an Elk. I appreciate everything he did for us here but he left. Therefore, it's my decision to not cheer for him. You certainly can & that's fine. I've no problem with that at all. That's your decision.
  9. Somewhat. I understand why Lawler left. Dollah, dollah, dollah. It's a business.. He's an Elk now so I really don't care about the guy. I'm sure Chris Jones sold Lawler a bill of goods as to how great life as an Elk would be like with him as HC. Now he's finding out that it sucks being an Elk. Oh well.
  10. That is a creepy whatever it is. .
  11. You build your team from a number of key positions out. Wide receiver isn't one of them Dumb move by a dumb GM & Head Coach in Edmonton. He's got a ton of money tied up in Lawler & Walker & he has holes everywhere. Holes that money could used elsewhere to have filled & improved the Elks. Both Derell Walker & Lawler looks like they have checked out. I don't think I've seen two more unhappier receivers.
  12. Duane Forde will get all emotional & may actually crack a smile. He'll need to be sedated.
  13. Can you really see the Eks beating the Riders? I can't. I know the Rider hatred here is strong (myself included) but let's be realistic. The Riders are a better team than the Elks. Their offense is superior. Fajardo is a better qb than Cornelius. Defensively they're better especially at linebacker. I think the Riders are better on specials all around. Coaching is a wash. I'd not want either HC's here in Winnipeg. I'd be happy if the Elks did knock off the Riders though but I don't see it happening. BTW, did you see Big Money Lawler basically check himself out of the game on Saturday night? Looked totally disinterested. Late in the game he was sitting on the Elks bench shaking his head. I'm sure the game day cheque he got afterwards made him feel so much better.
  14. i could see it this season. Why pay a wide receiver $325,000 a season if you only win 2 or 3 games & there are other holes fo fill??? This is the reason why you don't build your team around a wide receiver. We beat them at home & we win the West & host the Western Final.
  15. Who have they played? The beat hapless Elks twice? Then Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton & the Riders. Lions have only played two road games so far. The Bombers beat them at home. They haven't travelled to Calgary. Let them put up big numbers in their climate controlled stadium. Playing on the road is a lot different than playing at home. They're good but not as good as fans think they are. The road to the Grey Cup goes thru Winnipeg in November.
  16. Yeah, he looked real happy playing for the Elks last night. Other than one pass I remember him catching, the guy was invisible.
  17. Average blocker, stone hands & slower than molasses. He was a spot player in Calgary. The Elks have no run game. He's why.
  18. How the hell can Ante-Litre be a starting running back?
  19. Duron Carter is being eaten alive out there. He can't cover the Lions receivers.
  20. East Division teams quarterbacking is just horrid. That's why their records overall are so bad.
