  1. One thing I've noticed about the Bo Levi situation here in Calgary. He seems to have worn out his welcome here. Not many fans are sad to see the guy demoted to second string. Same as when he got hurt in 2019 & Nick Arbuckle took over. Then last season with the broken leg & this season when Maier finally replaced Mitchell. Not many fans are saying, "Poor Bo". Or, "We're gonna miss him". I don't see very much sympathy directed towards the guy considering how much he's won. I do get a sense that fans are excited for Jake Maier as he seems to be a quiet & likeable chap who lets his play on the field do the talking. There doesn't seem to be any attitude & arrogance from Maier. Unlike Bo, who needed to pump himself up by talking out of his ass half the time. Turns out, not a lot of friends outside of the team. I don't think he'll be missed if he leaves. Which is sad as Bo's been the starter here for nearly a decade. Not a lot of love in this city for the guy. I guess that's what arrogance & a big mouth will get you. It turns people off.
  2. Proud? More like perplexed wondering where all the Grey Cups they won in July went???
  3. He was the first qb to lock up a home playoff ganme because the division the Argos plays in SUUUUUUUCKS! He made his choice.
  4. And when Chevy speaks...
  5. Wonder if the Riders will bring him back next season?
  6. He's getting old. Just like Ellingson. When is Jamal Morrow coming back?
  7. LaPo has created such a mess in Ottawa that it'll take years to fix it. Much like LaPo did here as HC & Tim Burke tried to fix but couldn't. Why would Khari even want to go to Ottawa? He's in a better situation in Hamilton & if any organization can turn it around quickly the Cats can.
  8. I think the Bombers will pursue all CFL FA opportunities or trade first before handing the LT position to any inexperienced rookie.
  9. He's going to have to be a helluva player to play in Bryant's spot when the time comes. That's why a veteran & successful left tackle from another team is more likely to take over. I don't see his signing as succession planning at all. It's all about free agency.
  10. I think his head coaching days are severely numbered.
  11. Not 100%. This looks like a depth signing for training camp next season. The guy is a green as grass rookie. He'd be eaten alive by some of the quick & athletic veteran DE's out there. Is that the guy you want protecting Zach Collaros blind side?? The next left tackle to start after Stanley Bryant retires (whenever he does) is starting right now on a CFL team.
  12. Stay away from the Bombers.
  13. They do paint outhouses.
  14. Welcome to Flag City. Jake Maier is sure an impressive young qb. Compare him & Rourke to Caleb Evans. There is no comparison!!!!
  15. Stamps. We do want to finish first.
  16. Memo to Mike O'Shea. DON'T. BRING. LAPO. BACK.
  17. I think before the coaches cap LaPo would have been fired. Now, teams are forced to account for the money.
  18. Man, what a terrible season for Adams. He might just pack it in.
  19. I doubt if the Bomber fanbase pities the guy.
  20. Debatable. I sure don't want him back. He benches Arbuckle & trots out Evans who is a terrible qb, Deserves to be fired.
  21. He has emotional issues as well. His mental health is fragile as glass. He suffers. We laugh. I get it as it's pro sports & a rivalry. Doesn't make it right.
  22. First world problems. As per usual, TSN takes a feel good story, runs with it & never stops talking about it. They make it sound like Dane Evans overcame a mountain to win that game against the Bombers & that his career will now take off as a starter. Because they constantly talked about it & the Bomber defense gave TSN some pretty good material & made Evans into some kind of hero. They continued to do that last night in the first half vs the Als when Evans was "on fire" again. When the Als pulled ahead & won, it was funny how Rob & Matty had stopped talking about it. It wasn't relevant anymore. Now before anyone else says I'm insensitive & my comments are "disgusting" , I'm just going to say that Cody Fajardo suffers from a lot of the same things that Evans does emotionally. Yet some of the same posters here who praise Evans for his courage are the same ones who mock & laugh at Fajardo when he fails & melts down on the field. Or say that he's a whiner when he complains. Only because he's a Rider.
  23. He's lost his team. That I'm pretty sure of.
  24. Let me know when you do.
