I think winning 4 is going to be extremely hard. Some of our core players are aging. It'll all depend upon who Walters signs & recruits. Who retires & who doesn't. can he replenish guys that retire? My goal as a fan for this team is 3 & then hope for 4.

Keeping Rourke's foot elevated the entire game. Yeah, he was ready to come back tonite. Right.

Overall, the best defensive performance this season. They looked like the defense of 2021 tonite. Our offense with everyone back will be LIGHTS OUT.

The other question is, Will Rourke be able to walk tomorrow??

Well, if Rourke comes in all rah rah then he'll get an attitude adjustment at some point. he needs his agent to watch out for him. Pro football is a business. They'll chew him up otherwise. He has to make decisions with the future in mind.

The only reason Rourke has hardware in his foot is because one or more bones have shifted & need to be put back in place. It takes nine months for a bone to heal with hardware in it, according to my orthopedic surgeon. I have hardware in my left foot from arthritis surgery in 2012 where my bones had also shifted. I had to wait 9 months for my foot bones to heal before that could be done. It's Mother Nature. The healing process is what it is. It may be sped up a bit by specific treatment, perhaps. However, as I've also been told by a surgeon, the healing time of a bone is a minimum of 9-12 months. Before the second surgery to take the hardware out. That's no picnic, either.

I go back to 1968 watching the Bombers in person but I don't know if talking about attendance that long ago has any relevance to today. I do remember a crowd in 1970, the last regular season game of the year where only 8,000 fans showed up in a cold rain/snowstorm. In 1968, only 12,500 showed up at Winnipeg Stadium in a late season game in October vs Ottawa.

Sorry but if Rourke isn't healed & he plays anyway then whatever happens he deserves it for being stupid. The entire Lions organization will look really bad. He needs a a big run stopper on the DL to help him. He's been exposed this year as the backs are coming right at him. Stepping into the hole every game takes its toll.

The Stamps OL are pretty good. They played with the Riders Front 7. We'll see how he does. Remember he plays 15 minutes in a climate controlled dome. If they beat the Stamps they'll have to come back to the winter elements here Nov 13th. Running on a frozen field can't be good for a cold foot that isn't healed yet. And there's no way Rourke's foot is fully healed.

He's doing well as a financial advisor so I don't think he'll get into coaching. Maybe when his son plays.
