  1. He got into Dave Dickenson's doghouse. He was a healthy scratch a couple of weeks ago.
  2. Sorry but for a guy who says he's travelled a lot you really have to get out more & visit otrher cities. I'd hardly call life in Winnipeg a rat race. I also wouldn't say Winnipeg's population is exploding. The city itself won't reach a million people until at least 2040. There are no freeways so people don't zip thru the city at 100 kph like other places. Condos & suburbs with real estate prices increasing. You mean like Vancouver & Toronto? C'mon man. What projects? Do you have the inside scoop? The US healthcare system. People who need help are left out as they can't pay. Most can't hold a job or afford a place to live & become homeless. I also read that other cities in the US actually round up their homeless, Then take them to San Fran & then dump them on the street & leave them.
  3. Thanks to the damned CFL agreement with TSN he won't call the Grey Cup for the Bombers if they make it. What a bunch of ****.
  4. The older parts of Edmonton sure remind me of Winnipeg in a lot of ways. The older houses, trees & just the way it's laid out.
  5. Twenty nine years says, "We deserve it. We deserve it. We deserve it. WE DESERVE IT."
  6. Been to San Fran a number of times. The City By The Bay. Love it there but it's bloody expensive to live there.
  7. Walby was an absolute beast!!
  8. The pbp for the Stamps Mark Stephen as well as Danny Austin who covers the team for the Calgary Herald & Sun both say it was salary related. Not Covid related due to a lack of vaccinations. They both said Huff was fully vaccinated. I just think Dickenson was unhappy with him. Perhaps he was dogging it at practice. Apparently, the decision to release Huff was all Dickenson's. I know that Huff was in his doghouse.
  9. I'm okay with what you said. No worries.
  10. That was just a blip. So insignificant it's not worth remembering. The Elks & RedBlacks are our 2013 nightmare this season.
  11. I suspect when we lost to the Argos in August.
  12. She was getting a little pissy a week ago making the statement to the panel to the effect that she's not being included in the discussion. Why? She's the host. Not the expert. Yeah, I don't hate her as a host but I just think she tries to joke around too much. The panel loses focus.
  13. No, from the Internet. It is very dramatic. You can see the anger in Joe Kapp while Mosca looks subdued seemingly knowing Kapp isn't wrong.
  14. Say what you will about Aaron Rodgers but the Packers are in big trouble without him.
  15. It was legit... Kapp confronts Mosca after the late hit on Willie Fleming in the 63 Grey Cup.
  16. That was the same receiver who grabbed hair.
  17. Mosca was in a wheelchair & his mid 70's at the time. He took a nasty tumble when kapp decked him. There was legit bad feelings between the two. Book or no book.
  18. I keep hearing what a great job Kate Bierness is doing. I don't think she's doing a good job at all as host allowing Sanchez & Milt to yuck it up too much. Lots of times she starts it.
  19. Rose was pushed. How they didn't call PI was mind boggling.
  20. There is absolutely no need to panic. Great teams blow other teams out & they find ways to win the close ones. Especially coming from behind the way we did. We need to play these close game to give the team confidence that they can win when adversity strikes. Not just the 30-3 or 45-0 games. I'm glad the team had to work to win this one.
  21. It's TSN, right?
  22. The Als come to town with a chip on their shoulders yapping they were better than us. To their credit, they punched us in the mouth a bit. Then refuse to lie down & actually went ahead briefly in the game. We mount a comeback & smack the tar out of the Alouettes in the second half. By the time the game is in the fourth quarter & we go ahead the end really isn't in doubt even though we just have a 7 point lead. The hit on Jake Weineke in the 4th quarter by Bighill & 2 late interceptions by Alford & Biggie just drove the final nails in the Als coffin. The Als just couldn't run with us physically & we pulled away. We got behind & faced adversity & came back to win. We really needed this game to prep for the playoffs.
  23. I just think it's sad that Angie & Kapp will be remembered for that fight than for their football careers. As Mosca was a former WWE wrestler I wonder if fans thought it was a shoot.
  24. Rest In Peace Big Angelo Mosca. When he played, he was bigger than life. Every football fan in Canada knew who he was. I want to remember him here.
