It's TSN, right?

The Als come to town with a chip on their shoulders yapping they were better than us. To their credit, they punched us in the mouth a bit. Then refuse to lie down & actually went ahead briefly in the game. We mount a comeback & smack the tar out of the Alouettes in the second half. By the time the game is in the fourth quarter & we go ahead the end really isn't in doubt even though we just have a 7 point lead. The hit on Jake Weineke in the 4th quarter by Bighill & 2 late interceptions by Alford & Biggie just drove the final nails in the Als coffin. The Als just couldn't run with us physically & we pulled away. We got behind & faced adversity & came back to win. We really needed this game to prep for the playoffs.

I just think it's sad that Angie & Kapp will be remembered for that fight than for their football careers. As Mosca was a former WWE wrestler I wonder if fans thought it was a shoot.

Rest In Peace Big Angelo Mosca. When he played, he was bigger than life. Every football fan in Canada knew who he was. I want to remember him here.

TSN loves the guy. He tries to injure players every game but that's okay. Piece of crud.

Huff fell out of favour with Dave Dickenson about 3 weeks ago when he was a healthy scratch. Then they brought him back last game. Stamps have a bye week & he was cut.

I'll just take the win. Well, I think we know the answer to that.

When I met my girlfriend who would become my wife 2 years later, as guys we all do things to impress. About 2 months after we started going out she called me to ask if I'd be willing to go the RWB. Good thing she couldn't see my reaction on the other end of the TELEphone. I just rolled my eyes & said yes. So we went. Haven't been back since. A couple of takeaways from last night's games: TSN just pumps the tires of certain players. One of them is Simoni Lawrence. He's one of the dirtiest players in the CFl. He's been fined multiple times & suspended yet there's TSN calling him a great guy over & over. Fajardo & the deep ball. I swear to God if I hear that one more time...

What doesn't Winnipeg offer? Eight hundred thousand people live in the metro area. I live in Calgary & we have 1.4 million. Winnipeg has everything Calgary has. Sure, we have mountains next door but no lakes & I tell ya... mountains are great but I'd rather spend time in the summer at Grand or Hillside Beach, the Whiteshell or NW Ontario. Swim or fishing.

You should lose sleep. Not every qb is suited to a team's system. Weii, if that happens before Reilly retires & even then I don't want him. Too old & too expensive.

I can't see a universe in existence where the Bombers let Collaros leave & sign Reilly.

I didn't think Holley would come back to the Stamps as he was embroiled in a dispute with GM John Hufnagel after the 2019 season when he refused to let him out of his contract to work out for any NFL teams. Holley & his agent were livid. Finally Huff relented but not until spring instead of December. Interestingly, Holley's brother is a receiver with the Stamps this season & has appeared in a few games as an injury replacement. Nye is a POS.

I absolutely love Zach Collaros as a Bomber fan. He can work magic out there by scrambling & extending plays. He doesn't take off & run much with the ball which is a good thing but he can wear out a defensive line as they are in chase mode all game.

I'd like Dane Evans but not Masoli or Reilly. Reilly is getting old fast in front of our eyes. I haven't seen him engage with his offense once this season on the sidelines to fire them up. He just goes to the bench, sits down & stares at his device. Only seems to talk to Nathan Rourke. He looks pissed off all the time. With his OL I don't blame him but leadership isn't about pouting or pointing fingers. It's about inspiring others & making them believe they can win. I don't see any of that with Reilly.

Every great championship team has a great OL. Troy Aikman behind the Wall of Dallas. Tom Clements behind the 1984 Bombers OL with Lyle Bauer, Mark Moors, val Belcher, John Bonk. Nick Bastaja & Chris Walby, Edmonton's OL with first Tom Wilkinson, Warren Moon & then Matt Dunigan & Damon Allen. the Green Bay packers of the 1960's with their two pulling guards Jerry Kraemer & Jim Ringo leading the Green Bay Sweep & protecting QB Bart Starr. I mean, no one can say that it's 70% OL & 30% QB. It's a team effort with all the players meshing together believing in their cause & brotherhood.

Who would they be?

For the sake of discussion here, if Zach can't play in the GC because he's unvaccinated (which I understand he is vaxxed) then I don't want him. Why would I want Collaros in the West Final & McGuire in the Grey Cup? We saw that Dog & Pony Show before in the Grey Cup with Ryan Dinwiddie after Kevin Glenn broke his arm in the East Final. No thanks.

Yes, I would say get rid of him. I don't care who he is because he won't be playing in the Western Final.

No one will hate you as this is the thread to talk about it. Stamps receiver Terry Evanshen was always one of my favourite non Bomber player. He won a Schenley Award as the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian in 1967. Another favourite non Bomber (before he became one) was Receiver/DB & Kicker Rick Shaw. He could play offense or defense & was extremely versatile. The Bomber coaches plugged him in wherever he was needed. I was excited when he signed with the Bombers in 1970 & he played extremely well. He spent just one season & never came back in 71 which made no sense to me. He would have made us a lot better that year. I think he signed with the Ti Cats. Turns out that HC at the time Jim Spavital didn't want him back. Probably a money issue.

Bottom line is get vaxxed or leave. FIFO.
