Kola makes pretty good money starting on the Bombers OL. He doesn't do much but he's well paid doing it. It's very frustrating to think Walters & Osh thought he was washed up. That they spent $$$ on other veterans players who aren't even close to performing at the level Grant is with the Argos.

What would the salary cap hit for Diedrick Mills & Peyton Logan with the Stamps be in comparison to Brady Oliveira & Johnny Augustine with the Bombers? It all starts with the OL & how badly they have played this season. Osh continues to play Kolankowski. Dobson has struggled.

Big difference. Matt's throwing shoulder was finished. He couldn't throw the ball anymore. Zach can still get it done. Is he playing well? No. Is that sad sack OL playing well? Guys are starting playing like crap. Our 3 interior linemen are dreadful. I don't put the offensive struggles on Zach. I put it on the terrible play of our OL.

No American back makes the kind of money Brady makes. Stanbeck in BC, Armstead in Montreal, Dedrick Mills & Peyton Logan in Calgary, Ka'Deem Carey in Toronto all make less than Brady.... much less. When you go Canadian at the RB position, it's more expensive. than going American. Sorry to say but he'd be the first guy I'd look at replacing if I was GM. And have discussions with Osh about flipping the position. The backup position with Augustine is also more expensive. It goes hand in hand.

Without a decent Offensive Line, no qb will flourish. I don't care who is playing. Both Walters & Osh have allowed the OL to regress. This problem is on them.

If I was GM, I'd have let Brady walk & sign two capable American backs. One as a starter & another as a backup. The money saved may have given us a little flexibility on the salary cap. We may have been able to sign a FA Offensive or Defensive Lineman.

How many games can we win playing the style of football we did against Ottawa? Maybe another game or two.

So, the question must be asked, Why is Milanovich starting a 36 year old QB over 25 year old in Taylor Powell? The guy showed promise last season but needs to play in order to develop. Playing Mitchell putting up big stats passing while the team continually loses makes no sense. Taylor Powell should be the starter now that the Ti Cats are 0-5.

That never would have worked. Management & coaches felt Brown wasn't ready to take over from Collaros. From what I've seen this season from him they weren't wrong. Why would O'Shea give up on a proven veteran like Collaros for an unproven Dru Brown with just 6 starts to his credit? That was never going to be in the plans except for a few posters here. The way our offense is playing, Brown would have been no more successful than Collaros.

This. We saw in last night's game on short yardage the Hamilton FB go behind Center in shotgun while Mitchell lined up as a receiver. Mitchell just stood there doing nothing. he wanted no part of the play. So then, why bother? Mitchell isn't much of a receiver. He won't block or catch the ball lest he injures himself. So, he's a useless decoy. Like Mitchell, moving Zach over to another position just takes him out of his comfort zone & his concern about getting injured.

They weren't going to keep Dru Brown as they can't have two qbs taking over a third of the salary cap. The plan all along was to sign Streveler & ditch Brown. Besides, Brown wanted to leave anyway. While he looks better than Dustin Crum handling the Ottawa offense, I have my doubts Brown is ready to be a starting qb in the CFL. He seems to be just above average at the control of the RedBlacks, he certainly doen't look like the Next Big thing. Brown looks slow getting rid of the football. Certainly not very athletic. He could have benefitted from staying another 2 years as a Bomber under Zach.

Yes, there are backs on the seats. If the capacity is 35,000 then nearly 30,000 seats have backs. The attendance issues go a lot further back than just backs on the seats. Stadium sucks. Ownership refuses to engage in trying to get a new stadium built. Absentee owner & Swiss citizen Murray Edwards doesn't care about the team. Well, it can't be ignored. You have a percentage of the population who are far right & don't trust government. To them, the vaccine mandates including the ones the CFL imposed on their teams affected a lot of fans. Most have come back but a significant amount still refuse to ever come back.
