You guys realize that on TSN this past Tuesday night, Randy Ambrosie lied to Farhan Lalji & all CFL fans watching the draft about the state of the CBA negotiations saying they were proceeding well. When Lalji asked him how they were going he made sure to mention that the talks had got off to a great start & how both sides wanted to get a deal done. When Lalji mentioned that the CFLPA had asked for a strike mandate from its members Ambrosie just passed it off as part of the negotiations like it was no big deal. He made no mention that the Players Association & the BOG's were at odds over ratio reduction & the CFL wanting a 10 year deal with no salary cap increase during the life of that agreement. He knew things were going badly but he still lied. Ambrosie smiled & lied to everyone. That is our Commissioner & the face of the CFL. You can't believe anything he says. Ambrosie has no credibility. It's no wonder the Players don't like or trust him. If he can lie to us publicly on tyelevision without any feelings of guilt, imagine what he's like in private dealing with the CFLPA.

Thanks to the "Freedumb Trucker Convoy" which scared the **** out of politicians everywhere, I thinbk that we cam assume that there'll be very little restrictions in the future. No required masking, either. I've stopped wearing a mask because here in Calgary, 99.9% of people don't mask up or social distance anymore. If I wear a mask it won't protect me or anyone around me, so why bother? It's like 2018 all over again. Last Saturday, we went to a play at the Arts Commons Theatre downtown. After the play, we took an elevator down to the street level. My wife & I got on by ourselves on the top floor. We stopped on the second floor where about 7 or 8 people got on & we were literally inches away from one another crowded in like sardines. I hadn't been in a situation like that since the start of the pandemic so I felt very uncomfortable & to be frank, I was bloody pissed off. Common sense & courtesy would have dictated that some should have waited for another elevator but nope., they all had to squeeze in Luckily, we both got off on the main floor as the rest of them carried on to the underground parking lot. I said to my wife, "Well, that was uncomfortable. This could be a mini super spreader." The people who got on were joking & laughing as they didn't seem to care very much. Crazy world. I don't need to get sick because a bunch of total idiots don't care. Six days no symptoms so far so hopefully we got off lucky.

Injuries & retirements had more to do with the team going 7-9 in 1963 as well as having a 1-14-1 record in 1964. Grant was able to bring the team back when everyone thought they were finished. He hadn't lost the locker room yet. Eight winning seasons in ten. His voice was still heard.

I remember the 1983 season. We had rookie Reaves & Kehoe tearing it up mid season that year along with Tom Clements from Hamilton for disgruntled qb Dieter Brock. Throw in John Hufnagel from the Riders as the backup in a trade where Cal Murphy sent them QB Nicky Hall, Rec Nate Johnson & OL Jason Riley. Those 2 trades changed the Bombers & made them instant Grey Cup contenders when before they were a team struggling to make the playoffs.

Season 1 Picard was better than this.

There have been a fewe concept Bomber uniforms. Obviously Wade & New Era weren't paying attention. Take the triple striped helmet from yesterday & replace the one in this photo & it would have looked great.

Watching Star Trek: Picard. There are more holes in the plot than a homeless guy's underwear. Like WTF???? The Borg assimilated species because they were lonely? Rios contaminates the timeline by falling in love with a woman in the 21st century. Q is dying but we never see him. Brent Spiner plays another Soong. Why?? Adam Soong & the question is why is he even there? His daughter who is an android has disappeared. Seven is now Borg again. They keep exploring Picard's memories of his mother's suicide to the point of it being painful. One episode was enough, PLEASE!!! They killed off Elrod who was maybe the most interesting character in Episode 1 only to bring him back as a security hologram with memories of before he died. Agnes Jurati now the new Borg Queen leaves them all stranded by stealing their ship. And Picard's response? "Let's go!! We have wotk to do!!" The timeline is totally effed as they've made so many mistakes. He should have said, "Let's go!! We have one more episode to fix this total ****!!" The writing has been terrible, the plot all over the place & the dialogue just horrible. Which is why I hate season long arcs. Episodic is the way to go. Story begins & ends in one hour. That's why I have much higher hopes for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds as it'll be episodic.

Those blue cammos lasted one game. I read that the players hated them back in 2014 & after wearing them for one game all refused to ever wear them again.

I have a feeling that this jersey like the navy blue cammo in 2014 will have a short life.

Not feeling it for the jersey. Don't like the W on the front either. Just as long as they don't mess with the main jerseys.
