No, conservatives cut, They destroy. The education system. The health care system. Infrastructure. Anything. That is their mantra, Cut, cut, destroy. I should know. I voted for doing that **** for decades.

I'll say the one thing this pandemic has done has changed my politics. I used to be a dyed in the wool conservative. That has gone by the wind. I still don't like governments in my life trying to tell me what's best but my ******* God, the governments we have in Manitoba, Alberta & Ontario are absolutely dreadful. Palliser is basically teelling Manitobans that it's their fault they got sick & FFS they have to do better. In Alberta, we have a provncial government spooked & running by the seat of its pants. Kenney is now seen as a weak & ineffectual leader to be trusted by no one. I voted for him. However, I cannot & never will support politicians like him again.

Remind me to never set foot in a church the rest of my life.

These pastors should all be thrown in jail. Worthless POS.

I remember reading a story when walters was Asst GM & implored Mack not to make a certain pick. he refused to listen. So to me, mack was totally resoonsible as he had the final say. You say Etienne might have made it had he bulked up? He never did so he wasn't prepared to do the work to be a legit CFL player.

Isn't it sad that the people crying for FREEDOM are the ones most unwilling to do anything about it by doing someting minor like wearing a mask. Maxime Bernier is a ******.

I used to really like the Crispy Crunch Blizzard. A staple of mine for years & then DQ replaced it. Don't care much for their summer selections each year. I was told the CC Blizzard was popular, too. Still they got rid of it.

But Asper was going to finance the stadium by selling property he had near the stadium & couldn't do it so he bailed leaving everyone in the lurch. At least that is how I remember it. That's when that disastrous financing plan was developed. Yeah, David. Sorry.

Binge watching The Sopranos. I've seen every episode but I just find the show irresistible once you get into it. As Silvio Dante said, "Just when I thought I was out. They pull me back in!!"

Yes, back for Season 12. Blue Bloods numbers are down from the 8-10 million they used to draw. Now 5-7.5 million. But that show has owned perhaps the worst time slot 10 pm Fridays since 2010 with huge numbers consistently. Imagine if it was scheduled on Tuesday or Wednesday nights at 9 pm. It might just have blown NCIS out of the water.

This is the fallout a decade later of Leonard Asper bailing at the 11th hour after he had proposed to help finance the stadium. The Bombers couldn't have been expected to carry such a heavy load.

Blue Bloods wraps up Season 11 with a two hour epsisode tonight. Hopefully, they can come back with a 22 episode season next year. It was hard following BB this year as they spread a 16 episode season starting in November instead of September. to May There were gaps between episodes throughout the season.

The last time I ever hitch hiked. Horrible experience. Which is why I'm surprised an NHL player under contract would just let it happen. I don't believe assistant coaches let alone a lowly video coach wields that much power.

True story. In 1976, there was a Winnipeg Transit strike in February. I always took the bus to the U of W where I was attending. I tried hitch hiking the first day of the strike. I was walking north on Osborne Street close to Confusion Corner when a big Caddy stopped & the guy inside said, "Get in". I told him I was on my to schoo,l & would appreciate him dropping me off at the Bay which he said okay. About a minute or two into the ride he put his hand on my thigh & was smiling at me. Never said a word to me. The guy was a fat **** in his 50's. I told him to stop but he squeezed even harder. I realized I was in danger so I figured I had to do something. I started punching him as he drove, banged on my door, started kicking the dash with my feet. I was screaming I was going to kill him if he didn't stop. I remember giving him a couple of shots with my fist to the side of his face. He quickly pulled over & I bailed. So, as I was in a bad situation & felt I had to do something... punching the guy's lights out was a definite possibility. If he hadn't stopped I don't know what I'd have done. I might have killed him as I was ina panic. I kept what happened to myself. Never told my parents or friends. I didn't go back to classes until the strike was over. So, punching a guy's lights out? Yeah.

I meant punching the guys lights out if he makes advances & the player feels threatened. Otherwise yeah just leave.
-
Was the anonymous player watching porn with the video coach? Also seems to me that if this video coach makes unwanted sexual advancement to a grown man who is a professional hockey player he could punch the guy's lights out in self defense, no problem. I know I would. This is just strange.

Politicians worry more about being elected & pandering to their base instead of doing the right thing & shutting things down completely.

Maybe the need is there for Grade 13 in provincial high schools across Canada for students to catch up. As a kid who struggled with math & the sciences I could have used another year. Having math deficiencies certainly shapes educational decisions you make as well as having career implications the rest of your life.
