When my son played Juco in california & then later at SFU, he used to lead the qbs in 3, 5 & 7 step drop drills as well as doing a lot of footwork drills when the team went to Special Teams part of practice. He didn't want to lose the skill he had dropping back from center he had learned inn high school because college was total gun snap out of the Spread when passing. So, he'd teach the other qbs the drills he used so they could all work each other out when there was downtime for them at practice.

That's a beautiful ball park. It would be a shame if that happens.

These guys seem more pro ready to step into their NFL careers then qbs a generation or 2 ago. Despite the fact they play 4 years in the gun formation running the spread offense. But the NFL has changed as well making it easier for these highly drafted kids to succeed. More plays out of the Gun & Pistol & the Spread.

The fool might have shot himself if any of those bullets riccocheted. Lawrence will end up in New York with the Jets or Giants. My condolences to the kid.

Did Winnipeg lose the Goldeyes?

I don't want to take it to PM's. I want him to quit hounding me. 17to85 should just leave me alone about my voting choice.
-
You completely threw your vote away & in the end helped get Kenney elected. So, you lecturing me is a joke.
-
So, you vote for the fringe party with a bunch of political rejects & you say it's okay but ignore the fact that 9% of the vote the Alberta Party received would have changed the outcome of the election for the NDP as the left's vote was split. You say that people are free to vote for the person they want. Then you turn around & criticize me for my choice . You're an idiot & a hypocrite.

Sometimes in a democratic election you don't get the results you like. It feels like you've been punched in the face when the party you support loses. That is what living in a democracy is about. You live with it & try to change things in 4 years time. And then there is just plain STUPID which describes you as a voter. You actually wasted your vote on a fringe party that got just 9% of the popular vote. That has no real leader, no money, no identity, no real platform & no chance of ever electing another single MLA to the legislature. And you're criticizing me? That is a joke. A vote for the Alberta Party was really a vote for the UCP. Take that 9% & give it to the NDP & they'd have had 43% of ther popular vote instead of 34%. Maybe they'd have won or at the very least made the UCP a minority government. You & other Albertans who supported the Alberta Party helped Jason Kenney get elected. Now, I can say that I know someone who actually voted for the Alberta Party. Well done.... Lol.

Yeah, your precious NDP. Don't tell me you never voted for them as that is a lie. If it quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. You quack here louder than anyone.

I think Singh knows that if an election were held tomorrow many NDP supporters would votr Liberal. They would lose seats. Singh would be finished.
-
I have read the NDP as a party is broke. They can't afford to fight another election so the fix is in. The New Democrats will prop up the Liberals for a long time. Trudeau knows it which is why he is governing like he has a majority.

If we have a season in 2021, Mikey will have to take a HUGE pay cut. Maybe as much as 50%. I think Hervey leaving speaks to the financial situation of the CFL. No season this year. The league ghosting media & fans about next season. Absolutely nothing being said regarding plans for 2021 other than a bubble in Edmonton... Edmonton??? They were supposed to have a bubble in Winnipeg last season but had no money, remember? Nothing has changed.

Yep. Back room deals.

Well, maybe throw that at the feet of employers who honestly would enslave their employees if they could get away with it. And governments talking a big game but in reality not caring as well. I blame employers & governments for allowing this to happen. Look at Trudeau, he convinced Jagmeet Singh to support his minority government if the Liberals brought in 10 days paid sick leave under EI. He knew Singh would ask for that to be added to get his support so the Liberals didn't do the right thing by just going ahead & doing it, I mean, they had six months. They made Singh look like a hero to get his support. In return, he makes Trudeau look good while the Conservatives are the sour pusses down the hallway in the next room. All show in politics. Nothing to do with what is right. Meanwhile both Trudeau & Singh smile & go, "Canadians are such suckers..."

Again, people with no sick days are going to try to work because no work means no pay. No pay means no food on the table, bills don't get paid or being able to pay rent. Unless the symptoms are obvious they won't stay home. They'll get pilloried for being selfish asshats while someone working in a union who get paid for being sick will just put their feet up & say, "Meh.... maybe a couple of more days". Most working poor are a paycheque & a half from living on the street.

I watch college football & they don't seem to be social distancing at all in the stands. Some games look crowded & it is sad that these teams don't take a leadership role with Covid. These universities must all be run by Trump Republican syncophants.

No, it's not all in there. You're as much of a liar as Notley or Kenney. It was never a part of the UCP platform & you know it. Tell me exactly where they say they're going after physician's pay like they have. Give me the the exact quote from the campaign promises. You can't because it isn't mentioned. They didn't have the guts to say they'd go after physicians & people on AISH because they knew they wouldn't get elected. Kenney & the UCP told a mistruth. Not a lie because they never mentioned it during the last campaign. So just like your precious NDP who brought in a carbon tax immediately upon being elected in 2015. No mention of it during that campaign. It wasn't a lie but a mistruth. A carbon tax would have killed the NDP's chances to ever govern. They knew it so they never said a word until the throne speech opening their first legislative session in 2015. A coward's way to govern. Both parties. When Nutley was challenged by the media about the secret carbon tax she just shrugged her shoulders & went, "Oh well". That is why she was thrown out as people never forgot how they were snookered by the socialists & I'm hoping same thing happens to Cowboy Kenney.
-
Kenney & his cronies never said they were going to go after doctors. No one... absolutely no one... voted for him to do that. Where in Kenney's campaign literature did it say he was going to cut physicians salaries & treat them like ****?? Check the campaign promises below & tell me where he said he'd do that. It never came up during the election campaign so get off your constant whining you keep droning on about the way Alberta voted. It's clear now that we were lied to. At the same time, no one gives a **** if your feelings are butthurt. If you don't like it you have a choice. You can leave & find another job in another province. I didn't vote for Kenney to go after physicians or disabled people on AISH (which are provincial disabilty payments) which is despicable. Then again, poor & disabled people can't defend themselves or fight back against the Kenney government so they're easy targets whereas Trudeau can fight back so the bully Kenney backs off when challenged. A lot has changed since the provincial election. I voted for Kenney so Alberta would have a stronger voice when dealing with constitutional issues like equalization payments & the federal Liberal policies which clearly hasn't happened. That 70% (of which I am one) that you claim to hate are angry because we've been lied to. Turns out Kenney is a fraud, a snake as well as a coward in cowboy boots & a stetson. During the election he said he'd stand up for Albertans when it came to Ottawa which was another lie as he hasn't. I won't be voting for him again. I suspect a lot of people won't especially with the doctors dispute. He'll be giving the province back to the NDP in 2 1/2 years. https://globalnews.ca/news/5014642/alberta-election-2019-united-conservative-party-campaign-promises/\

My wife & I stood two hours in line during the 2017 Mayorality & Civic elections in Calgary. While standing in line, we all thought it was due to a record turnout. Nope, the City of Calgary didn't deliver enough ballots to the polling stations. They ran out & more ballots had to be shipped to these polling stations by couriers which took hours. I read that some City employees were also ddeliveing ballots to polling stations using their own vehicles to speed up the process. Some polling stations even closed their doors at 8 pm with people who had been standing in line since dinner time because of the long delays & never voted which spartked outrage. There was supposed to be an investigation into what happened but nothing ever happened. All we got from the City was, "Oops, Sorry!" Canadians get very complacent thinking our voting system can't ever screw up. We see the problems with mail in ballots in the US & we think "Not Here". However, after experiencing what happened here in a simple civic election in Calgary, it's evident that voter fraud & interruptions can happen here as well. Voter interference & voter rigging can occur in Canada as well.

Yep, no surprise with your answer there.

Well, I'm referring to winter & when it truly starts. And people stay indoors & heating systems in our houses & buildings.

Sports was a big part of our kids life growing up. Both our kids played football & baseball. My youngest also played basketball. To have those taken away from them would have been sad.
