  1. He definitely has a face for radio.
  2. Double standard? Name me a woman qualified to do CFL pbp on TSN Replacing Cuthbert? Which female broadcaster is lighting it up on radio or tv right now in this country actually calling games??? I mean, if you're going to mock Noeller then I call you a virtue signaller.
  3. They definitely hid that well. Doohan's missing middle finger.
  4. He wants to do NHL broadcasts. How hard is that to understand?
  5. He said the self quarantine showed some of his games on CBC. He is 62 & Sportsnet has the NHL contract another 7 years meaning he'd be 70 if he wanted to call another hockey game so he decided to leave TSN. Nothing to do with the state of football.
  6. Where are you going to find a woman doing football pbp in this country? In the States with 370 million there's only a handful.
  7. No respect for Durant nor do I care what he thinks. He picked Fajardo as the third best qb in the CFL which is a joke. I'll take Vernon Adams & Trevor Harris over him. As far as Collaros goes, he needs to play a bunch of games to get back into the running when discussions start about who is the CFL's best qb.
  8. Happy for Sam walking away from the game on his own terms.
  9. The same thing happened in 1968 at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Mayor Richard Daley, a Democrat who iwas just like Donald Trump wanted to crush the protesters & the Chicago police was nasty & vicious. They tear gassed & beat members of the media covering the convention. They did the same to innocent bystanders & protesters. To men & women. Didn't matter. The media called it a "police riot". There were many injuries to cops & the protesters but it didn't crush the anti war movement, it solidified it. But let's not kid ourselves. Like today, there were anarchists in the crowd that wanted violence as well to promote their agenda. But the police handled this all wrong.
  10. Do you notice that Trump blusters on twitter or in the media but when he's challenged he just backs off like he did with the Illinois governor here? He is a bully. He talks tough but stand up to him & he slinks away.
  11. Electrocuting a 14 year old innocent kid with 5400 volts to the head??? Reminds me of a song from 1973 called That's The Night That The Lights Went Out In Georgia written by Reba McIntyre with the lyrics: "The Judge said guily in a make believe trial Slapped the Sheriff on the back with a smile Said supper's waiting at home and I gotta get to it." Amazing how in 1944 they overlooked the weight of the beam yet figured it out 70 years later? It doesn't take Perry Mason to have known the teen couldn't have lifted the beam as it would have been too heavy for him. Those fuckers knew at the time. The boy's lawyer knew. The Prosecutor knew. The Judge knew. The jury knew. The cops knew. The people in the courtroom knew. The reporters knew. They all knew but just didn't care. He was black & that was all that mattered. Two little white girls were killed by someone else. The real murderer may have walked among that community for another half century. Thing is, they let the real guilty person get away with it. But they got their kind of justice & that's all that mattered.
  12. Not saying TUP is wrong. It may have been the highest PPV. Just that AEW is too young to be saying All Time. But I want to stress that it isn't a big deal & not a hill I want to die on.
  13. Woooooooooooooooooooooowww! OMFG! May she burn in Hell.
  14. "All time" may be overstating it a bit. Lol. "So far" might be a better description. AEW needs a little more history of great matches & PPV's before the AT term should be used. Not a criticism of you, btw. Just a small observation.
  15. Yeah, that was a good example of a cop getting off who should have went to jail. There are many other examples as well. Cops just don't get convicted for major wrongdoings in the US. Most are professionals who do their jobs very well & will put their lives on the line to protect the public. But that last 10% are power drunk pricks who would get their jollies beating up or shooting someone. It's that 10% that need rooting out. If they know they'll get away with being thugs then they'll keep doing what they're doing. If the Fear of God is put in their heads if they mess up, then most won't. No cop should feel he or she is above the law.
  16. The title should be changed to address how things have escalated.
  17. At least you have a modern stadium in Winnipeg. Here in Calgary, Eisenhower was President when McMahon was built. With little or no fan comforts. It's a stadium fans would rather stay away from.
  18. The league wants to attract more fans? Not with the CFLPA making assinine decisions like this.
  19. Change won't come if he gets back in... He has to go.
  20. We do, though. The CFL is entertaining. It's ticket prices. Why pay $60 for a ticket when they can watch it at home for free? Price it so it can be a real choice rather than a slam dunk NO.
  21. They do at McMahon Stadium.
  22. The only way real change will happen is if Trump is defeated in November along with his lapdog GOP governors who follow his every move. If they all get back in then it will be status quo for another 4 years with blacks & police. .
  23. That is me. I am conservative but I could never stand with him or vote for him.
  24. I think he finally dug a trench his fat ass can't climb out of.
  25. What makes you the expert here?
