Yeah, it was Maier's fault they lost. Alrighty then. Don't know what game you watched. I had a good laugh over what you said. Mitchell couldn't run before his broken tibia so not even a month later he should be spry as an Elk if he plays Saturday, right? I mean, he has such a good OL blocking for him he shouldn't get touched, will he? He was also having issues throwing the ball coming off his shoulder surgery of 2 years ago. But hey, still play the beat up all time great just because... over the backup who is outplaying him. They'll play Bo alright. Not because they should but because of his ridiculously high salary of over $700,000 a year.

The Kid is good. No doubt about it. It wasn't his fault they lost. The Stamps secondary played like crap. Little or no heat on Harris & they never really got to Harris so his confidence grew as the game went on. Stamps were robbed by the officials as Lemon was not offside. Mitchell is making $700,000 to be a pylon. His best days are behind him. If he continues to improve how can they justify not keeping him over Bo?

Jake Maier looks to be better than Arbuckle ever was. There definitely is an aura about the kid that even a lot of veteran qbs don't have. If Hufnagel keeps Mitchell over him then he is nuts. They have a young team so why play the hugely expensive old veteran with a banged up body & lose when they can lose but develop with a cheaper & talented young qb? It makes no financial sense to keep Mitchell next season.

The way I see it, when nothing was done to stop the rail blockades two years ago, people being allowed to demonstrate without the police enforcing laws in place or health regulations, it empowered these asshats to do what they want with little or no fear of consequences. It doesn't matter whether or not you agreed with the demonstration's cause or not, it created a feeling of empowerment for many people to air their grievances. The politicians & the cops opened the Pandora's Box & this is the result. Most of these people are cowards & would never do what they're doing if they were looking at the cops breaking up unruly demonstrations as well as huge fines &/or jail time.

There used to be a Bonanza in Moose Jaw & Medicine Hat. When our kids were small in the early 90's we'd be driving back from Winnipeg to Calgary. We'd try to time it so we'd get to MH at dinner time so we could stop for supper. I loved the Salad Bar & all you can eat shrimp. I miss Bonanza & Chi Chi's.

True but it seems the RedBlacks players have lost confidence in Nichols. I don't think they believe they can win with him anymore. They won't win with Dominique Davis. Both LaPo & Desjardins have really screwed up the QB position. One or both will pay at seasons end if nothing changes (trade for Masoli).
