Hope Blue Bloods survive the cuts.

For awhile, after I saw him I'd call him up just to say hello & we'd chat for a few minutes. He always had the time to talk even though I was interrupting his preparation for his sportscast on tv. As I was living in Calgary, I never went to Don's funeral. I wish l had.

I spent a day shadowing him at CBC in 1971. I was in Grade 9 doing a school project. I called him out of the blue, told him about my project & Witt instantly said okay for me to spend the day with him. One of the best days I ever had as a teen. I met all the CBC 24 Hours crew, News anchor Garth Dawley, Meteorologist Murray Parker & interviewers John Harvard & Gerry Haslam. He was a genuinely nice man. Treated me like gold. I got to see how they put together an hour long news show.

My wife is eligible tomorrow as well. Hope you both get in quick.

Just as an aside, but I see topics on different sites like the NFL Network, where they say "Classic Games" & it's a game from last season. Really? To me, a classic game is Ken Ploen vs Bernie Faloney. Not Matt Nichols vs Cody Fajardo.

That's what is happening in Alberta now. I certainly am for defunding the police as they don't do their jobs anymore. Cops always crying for more money, Screw them.

Neither do the Lethbridge Police. he should have stayed in for his senior year.

I'd be very uncomfortable driving my school bus after Spring Break this Tuesday. So, I get you.

I had another round of foot surgery a week ago. I'm basically homebound for the next 12-14 weeks as I can't walk as I recover. Usually, it's depressing having to stay indoors waiting for things to heal up. Plus it hurts. This time, I'm not unhappy at all.

Yes, thinking back what a dumbass I was even into my 30's. I really didn't change until I got married & started a family. Amazing how that beautiful bundle of joy can change your perspective.

The problem I had with Liram after that particular game was that he never faced the media. He hid out & then was allowed to leave without answering questions. He was a young player back then. Like I said, I think he'd handle things differently now & face the music. maturity means a lot. If qbs can answer questions about a bad game or throw, then so should other players. Or running backs who fumbled a game away. I think he knows that now.

AB CMOH Deena Hinshaw has certainly lost her lustre. I don't trust her any more than I trust Health Minister Shandro or Kenney. She has become a mouthpiece for the UCP. She knows where her bread is buttered.

Just one other thing. I've really tried to not be so snarky over here. I try not to argue anymore as I'm tired of confrontations. I'd rather try to get along than argue or fight over some stupid topic. So, this will be the last thing I say on this. I am tired of being accused of being angry & picking fights. I'm sincerely trying to get along & really just have a truthful conversation with people. You don't have to agree with me but at least respect what I have to say, even if you don't like it. I won't comment anymore about this.
