The 56 yarder, fine. It's the other kicks & convert he's missed this season. Most were makeable. He's got to grab the kicking job & make it his own. That no one will take it away from him.

I think players respect LaPo but again not being a qb sometimes makes it hard as the offense is geared more towrads receivers making reads than being qb friendly.

That's what being a pro kicker is all about. Pressure, pressure, pressure. No different than throwing a rookie qb in there with no experience like Jake Maier, Dane Evans or Chris Streveler. They either handle it or not. I'm not convinced Liegghio will finish the season with us. The Als have a rookie U Sports kicker who is having a solid year. Liegghio has been wildly inconsistent.

Walters, please bring in a competent FG kicker. When Liegghio is at best 50/50 on a 37 yard attempt it's unacceptable. Jefferson is Job #1 to get re-signed. We can't lose him.

At least now we can mix it up & we aren't so predictable on offense with Buck Pierce. And we challenge the secondary of every team we play with the exception of the Argos but we never play well in TO for some reason. I just want to thank Ottawa again for picking LaPo as their Head Coach. Pierce was a former qb & he calls plays like one. I don't think LaPo was. Just like Jacques Chapdeleine who was a slot & never played qb. He struggled as an OC as well.

We can now see the difference between last year's offense under LaPo & having Zach Colaros as our qb instead of Nichols. We push the ball downfield in our passing game. I don't see a lot of 5 yard passes when we need 9 yards kinda thing. To me, it's like watching a different offense under Buck.

Collaros: Sticking it to Saskatchewan. Threw some darts. His receivers worked hard for him all game long. Woli & Lawler made a couple of great catches. Harris: Close to or over a hundred yards kept the Rider defense off balance. Brandon Alexander: Two picks by the ballhawk safety. HHA: The entire defense. They were physical. They were mean. They kicked the Riders offense all over the field. Fajardo was hit on nearly every pass play. They were in his head by the end of the game. I thought Liegghio was terrible. We need to bring in another kicker. Someone other than Crapigna.

Jim Barker talked about that. Fajardo can't push the ball dowfield. They absolutely punished him today.

Spavital believed that training camp should separate the Men from the Boys. You run, run, run & hit, hit, hit. Every practice every day in helmets & full pads. You'll either survive or quit. His philosophy was that games are won in the fourth quarter. That the Bombers would out hit & out work their opponents. He felt that the Bombers would not be tired late in the game if they had to go 109 yards for a touchdown with 3 minutes left to win the game. Hence the brutal training camps.
