One of my friend's father played for the Stamps in the 60's. He told me a story about a longtime Stamps offensive lineman who was going to beat up one of the black players on the team because the guy dared have a shower at the same time he did. He was an American & a proud racist. He was enraged that his black teammate dared have a shower when he was already in it & didn't know his place. I know the names of the 2 players involved but as I don't know if the story is true or not, I won't name names. That was fairly common back then on CFL teams. A lot of General Managers & Head Coaches along with their assistants were from the Southern US & the racism that existed in American society towards Blacks also existed on the 9 CFL teams as well.

I'm not a Green supporter & I will never vote for them. I'd vote NDP before I ever vote..... nah, it will never happen. However, I think a lot of Canadians still think that the Greens are still a bunch of enviro nuts from Europe stuck in the 80's. As well, people think Elizabeth May is still a wingnut. She looks to be the interim leader as Annamie Paul will be pushed out. They're stuck at 2% popularity & are fortunate they won 2 seats.

I turned off Global. It was just so damned boring. I watched CTV as I'm not a Rosie Barton fan.
