Help me out here, the Seattle Kraken are going to streaming their games next season. First NHL team to do that. Why can't the CFL try to get on a sports streaming network like DAZN or Amazon?? I assume if they did, people all over the world could watch CFL games if they subscribe. Why can't they stream internationally while having games on TSN in Canada? Just asking as I don't know how this works. If it's TSN who are the rightsholder, then **** them. maybe the CFL has to negotiate two tv deals. One for TSN & the other for international streaming. To me, that's where any future revenue growth would be.

The writer's & actors strikes really screwed some great shows. Like Blue Bloods, Yellowstone & now OC. Granted with Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone, Kevin Costner acted liked a diva. Now, the actor who played Rip (Cole Hauser) in the series dropped his lawsuit he had filed against Sheridan this past week. Not over money or acting contracts. But coffee. Hauser & Sheridan own competing coffee companies & it had to do with who would supply the actors & production company with coffee. How crazy is that?

Well, ain't tht a kick in the head! That absolutely freaking sucks. OC's the best series of the Law & Order genres. And down to 10 episodes from 22.

I just hope NBC renews Law & Order; Organized Crime. NCIS Hawaii? Go woke & go broke. I can do without the lesbian love affair on a police procedural.

When Big Blue started talking about giving players expansion money, I just shook my head. There is NO expansion money!! Maybe putting a team in Halifax might give the CFL a slightly bigger tv deal but I wouldn't be surprised if a 10th team made no difference. There's a chance that the next deal with TSN may not be worth as much.

Sometimes you just overthink. Like here with this. For example, why would teams dress extra Canadians just for home games? They'd never play so why even pay them??? We dress 45 players now so dressing more makes no sense. Expansion money? For what new team, exactly? Where would you expand? Halifax? C'mon, if that city wanted a team there'd have beeen a team there with a proper stadium yeras ago. Quebec City or London, Ontario? Remains to be seen. poersonally, I doubt it. And how much will an expansion team fetch? Five to ten million? What's that divided over 9 teams? That's $555,000 to $1.1 million per team. Hey, nice little one time windfall but it'll just be swallowed up in losses by 8 of the 9 teams now. If we're expanding to create extra money then that's laughable as it'll make little difference financially in the long run. You seem to have this penchant for trying to start these super serious discussions. Like we'll suddenly solve the league's problems at once. The CFL is what it is. Just enjoy it.

Winnipeg made it onto the Pat McAfee Show today. He didn't know where the city was but couldn't get over how crazy the Jets fans were.

The guy was a lawyer in Chicago for a few years before jumping into coaching at the NFL level. Very, very sharp guy. The guy knows football. He would have made an excellent CFL HC. It's too bad he never came back. Had he come back, I think he would have had a similar career to John Hufnagel with the Stamps.

Yeah, it was a shot at the CFL. So, Kelly should do us all a favour, quit the Argos & get a job outside if football & see how much he makes.

The others obviously didn't respect Bottcher. They seemed to disagree with every shot he called when I watched them play. Even their coach knifed the guy in the back & left with the other 3. Nasty.

It wasn't the owners. It was US Immigration laws. canadians were not allowed to play on US teams. The only way expansion to the US would work... roster wise... was to eliminate all Canadians & make everything wide open. The US expansion of the mid 90's was doomed from the start because of it. Granny Liggins was a great player. One of the last who could go both ways in a game. He was 7th in the Heisman Trophy voting his senior year. We used to get so many quality players coming up here like him because of the lack of American pro teams, smaller rosters, leagues & money. Multiple CFL All Star at OG & DT. BTW, Granny is short for Granville.

Devon Claybrooks??? There's a blast from the past. I think he's coaching in the BC Junior Football League now. The new Rider HC Corey Mace kind of reminds me of him. He became the Next Big Thing with the all star defense he coached the last two seasons in Toronto. Claybrooks rose up fast thru the coaching ranks with the Stamps after being a player. He inherited one of the greatest defenses in living memory as Stamps DC & won a GC with Alex Singleton as his MLB. Became the BC Lions HC & failed miserably as they had few defensive stars. Got fired after one season never to be heard from again. We'll see if Mace follows his former Defensive Coach Claybrooks & fails miserably in Regina. The Saskatchewan Stink. Kinda has a nice ring to it.
