Can we put Big Chris to bed as a starter finally? He can have warm cookies & milk. The gap between Streveler & Collaros is astounding. It seems like light years. Just the instincts & smarts Zach showed tonight is something that will take years for Streveler to learn, if ever.

Stayed away from this thread because I got home late so I was PVR'ng the game. Able to watch all of it. Collaros exceeded all expectations. That TD pass to Adams was something special. Nice closing drive for the walk off FG. Nice to know that he had such a memorable game with us & not the Riders. This should put to rest the play Streveler crowd. He isn't close to understanding the offense after practically 2 seasons while Collaros had 2 weeks. If O'Shea starts Streveler over Collaros then he is one crazy man.

Yet the rest of Canada treats Quebec with kid gloves. Blanchet has no interest in doing anything for Canada. Just for Quebec. Tsk, tsk, no religious symbols by government employees in Quebec. No one says nothing. Where's Trudeau & the rest of the federal party leaders on this? Yet we in Alberta complain about equalization payments & we don't act Canadian? Give me a break. I guess money usurps freedom in this country.

Ha ha. They're welcome to Streveler if they do.

I thought there was something like a $250,000 limit. Would XFL teams pay unknown CFL qbs almost 700 grand? I guess they could. But they won't be around long.
-
There are a few hatchet men in this league that would do just that. The fines up here are a joke & not much of a deterrent. Same with suspensions. So, these dirty hits go on all the time. I don't want to name names but just think about who they could be.
-
XFL doesn't pay that kind of money.

Does Picard's dog have special powers like the cat in the original series?

Need I remind … One hit.

Going after Milt & criticizing the Nichols family for a generous donation of ten grand to the Children's Hospital should be enough.

Don't get your hopes up that the Bombers go after a FA qb. Won't happen.

Masoli Arbuckle Nichols Streveler Colaros
-
Masoli is a free agent come February. No team will be giving up any assets for him. He's the odd man out. He'll find a soft landing spot that will pay him well. But I doubt that it will be Hamilton.

He said I had a "cause". Like because I live in Alberta therefore I must hate the Earth. I read the comments here about Alberta. Not just today but everyday. Like Mark F saying we are "not the brightest bunch". Or the comment about Jim Prentice which of course is clueless as it had nothing to do with climate change but provincial government spending on education & health care. If people here are going to be asshats towards me & my fellow Albertans well **** them. You (meaning all the progressives here that hate Alberta) want a meaningful dialogue then drop the insults. If not, don't be shocked when you get it back. If you think I'm a little sensitive, well I am. Try to see things from my perspective, please. Albertans are not all rednecks. We all don't have multi million dollar homes out here. We all don't drive huge expensive SUV's. We aren't all rich oilmen or JR Ewing. Not all of us work in O & G. We are just like all of you. We have families. We worry about paying our bills like you do. A little respect as Canadians goes a long way. Dafuq?

I blame LaPo as well. But I also blame O'Shea & think his days as Bombers HC should be over if we lose in the playoffs again. MOS is definitely a huge part of the problem as it starts with the HC.
-
What? Since Evans has another year with a cheap entry level contract & he has played as good or better than Masoli why would they trade Evans & pay Masoii significantly more money? If I'm whoever the GM is in Hamilton, last thing I can afford with a tight salary cap is signing Masoli when I have a qb as capable or better already there for a cheaper price.

I don't have a cause, Mr Social Justice Warrior.

Where is the world transitioning to renewables? I see a lot of talk from progressives like you but in reality the world is still using more oil than ever before.
-
That's funny, a pipeline contributes more to climate change than rail cars on a train & trucks.
-
FFS, don't twist this. I know what I heard. Read the Greens election platform & the NDP's. Watch the English language debate again & what Elizabeth May was saying. I'm not going to get caught on a merry go round of words with you.

He wasn't coaching in the CFL at the time.

I can absolutely tell you that when my son Tyler was playing at SFU & Jacques Chapdelaine was his qb coach, OC & Head Coach he often felt the wrath of Jacques. So, players can be pushed hard. It wasn't because he hated my son. It was because he had such high expectations for him. He expected him to quarterback that team a certain way & if he didn't then he heard about it. Jacques was tough on him but he realized it was because he did care & saw his potential that he was so tough. These players don't realize the minute the coach stops yelling means he doesn't care anymore. Some players get it while others don't. When Jacques left SFU after just one season, Tyler missed him a lot.
-
Don't know why we can't do both? Build pipelines to safely transport oil & gas to tidewater on both coasts rather than by rail which is more expensive & dangerous while developing renewable resources.
-
Players seem to like p[laying for him. Is that because they like him or he just wins championships?

Thanks for answering my question in the way I was hoping someone would. I agree with that. I'm not against change. I'm against the alarmist scientists, environmentalists & politicians like Elizabeth May who are claiming the sky is falling when it's not. I prefer a balanced approach but that is impossible. Once we have the technology we can wean off oil but until then it's foolishness to put Canada on a path to something that can't be done. I think irresponsible.
