I think it's pretty sad when we have our fans just assassinating Nichols character & toughness with a first place team. So much for team loyalty. No matter what he does they'll never give the guy the credit he deserves. Just constant criticism. If we were 1-10 like BC I could understand it. But we're in first place. Like I said, it's just sad. I think at times this fanbase is worse than the Riders.

Well, thank you for saying that. I was beginning to think some people here were thinking Streveler is invulnerable like Superman. If you look at the CFL every starting qb except Mike Reilly has been injured. I think a lot of those qbs are considered tough. Mike Reilly's time is coming unfortunately, behind that hideous OL.

That is why he was brought back. To promote his new show. Hey, I loved Steve Austin back in the day but I wouldn't tune in specifically to see him deliver a Stone Cold Stunner to AJ Styles today. Or to see Hulk Hogan "hulking up" in the ring, brutha. But Austin interviewing Dale Earnhardt Jr? That makes as much sense as Bob Costas interviewing Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin. Why? I liked Austin's podcast he used to have but WWE canned it.

John Seda is leaving Chicago PD. What the writers have done to his character (Antonio Dawson) is beyond belief. He used to be the one character on that series who was all about honesty & integrity. They turned him into a rat & an addict who knows his fellow detective Adam Ruzek is taking the fall for him. Nichols will be the starter when he comes back. That's how MOS roles. He lost his starting job because of injury & wasn't benched.

Well, that's good you feel that way but right now I don't share that view. Do you have any idea how physically tough it's going to be for Streveler to maintain that pace over the remainder of the season & playoffs let alone win the Grey Cup? He won't win games with his arm so he has to win with his legs. It is going to be extremely difficult to do that. He is going to get beat up. Streveler is not indestructible. All it takes is one hard shot & he's out just like any other player He's opening himself up to get hurt with his style of play. That run play he made where he broke a bunch of tackles was great but realistically how many of those can he do before it takes its toll? That's my concern with him. Longevity.

The CFL needs to change it's playoff format for the crossover game. If a 4th place team from the West had more points than the third place team in the East (or vice versa) then why should the Western team be punished by having to play the game at the third place team's stadium. They don't deserve it. They should travel to the West & play the game there. Just another bullshit rule to benefit the teams in the East.

To me, jury is still out on Streveler as a passer. When I know he can win us games with his arm then I'll get excited that he's the real deal because then his running will make him dangerous & a huge headache for defensive coordinators. Until then, I'll watch his development with all kinds of interest but withhold judgement as I just don't know. In all my years watching the CFL I've seen a lot of running qbs come & go. Most of them flame out because they've always relied on their running ability first & either couldn't process reading defenses or thought they didn't have to. I'm not even close to anointing Streveler as Jesus Christ able to walk on water like some have here.

Can we just concentrate on winning the next game?
