Amazing we say that when guys like Willard Reaves, Jay Washington, Robert Mimbs & Charles Roberts carried the load 20-30 times a game. As fans with those guys we never talked about being overused & injuries. If anything, those guys played better in the second half than they did in the first. The great backs love the work.

I never saw Bowman play live so I could never key on him by watching. So, I guess my observation about Bowman was wrong.

Until we throw the ball downfield deep we won't see it.

Well, I never saw him play as I live in Calgary & we don't see the little things that you would if I was at a game. Like route running. But my point is... guys are being wasted in this offense. The ball does not get spread around like you see with other teams.

They never threw to him. Maybe he was done but I remember that offense & he was ignored. Matthews is just a waste.

He doesn't use his receivers the right way. How many times was Dressler squashed & injured on that fly sweep that Lucky Whitehead now runs. They signed Bowman but hardly threw to the guy until he became a totally ridiculous decoy. Matthews a big bodied receiver who makes contested catches who they never throw to downfield. Of the 3, Dressler had the most success if you want to call it that. I just see Matthews taking up cap space being totally wasted in our offense. Even Wolitarsky, the guy could be a thousand yard receiver & he gets the ball 2 or 3 throws a game. He's being wasted as well. That's LaPo's offense. The ball never gets spread around. But hey, let's check down & throw a hundred balls to Andrew Harris.

LaPo not only wrecks qbs he also wrecks receivers. He turns thousand yard receivers into the scrap heap. Like Dressler, Bowman & now Matthews.

Time for LaPo to go & let Pierce step up. Only problem I see is he'll stick with LaPo's system so will things change that much?

Agree if he wants to be a starter he finds a way to score on the last drive. Other qbs do it so he has to do it too. Or he goes back to being a bench warmer. The comment about Sinopoli being covered sounds the same as Matt Nichols saying his receivers were covered when they played the Stamps last season so he had no one to throw to which went over like a lead balloon with fans here. Although it was probably true.

Wouldn't it be something if this game was called because of lightning?

Maas looked like he was going to explode when the TD was called back throwing some paper & swearing profusely on the sidelines. He grabbed his headset & I thought he was going to destroy them thus breaking his promise of acting more like a professional. I'm thinking, "Throw them! C'mon, throw them".
