Well, like anything else when a position opens up you find out who is interested & /or available. And qualified coaches will be available. You don't, as an organization, become afraid to make a change because you don't know who is available. You'll never find out by being scared to make changes.

If we have another failed season then good luck selling continuity to the fans. That would just make no sense & they'd lose even more fans. But this organization? Wouldn't surprise me. Everybody seems to be buddy, buddy friends rather than co workers. Loyalty over results.

If coaches aren't held accountable then how can players be expected to be? At some point, changes need to be made. Year after year of the same old isn't the answer either. Besides, who knows what assistants may be available. As far as Claybrooks goes, he was a very good DC with the Stamps. Maybe that is his true level of competence. Not everyone can be a good HC.

That's always the fall back excuse. Don't replace them because who else is out there? Great reason to keep shitty coaches.

He wasn't that good. He gets a lot of slack here because so many posters hated Nichols & have been so vocal about it that they can't back down now & we know who these posters are. Did he get a lot of support from his teammates other than Lawler & Harris when he was used? Nope. Our line blocked like ****. Our receivers decided they weren't interested & LaPo called his usual crap conservative game. So, he didn't stand out but he wasn't the worst. He had a lot of company. Streveler did look angry & frustrated at the end. Something tells me he isn't getting a lot of help from LaPo or Buck during games.
