That Francois Legault is a piece of work like most Quebec politicians are. That whole organization under Jones & Murphy was dysfunctional. I think Craig Dickenson will bring some stability & reason to the locker room. He's a pretty low key guy who isn't self centred like Jones was.

It is just brutal football. The level of compete isn't where it should be at the qb position. Watching Christian Hackenburg crapping the bed for Memphis sure was fun. He's the AAF's star qb as well.

The CFLPA are run by Canadian offensive linemen who as a group are higher paid than most other positions as rookies. Only the lower draft picks play for minimum. They could care less about the entry level as most Canadian OL will be paid above that. They have basically taken over running the Association. That is why the money goes to the vets & not the rooks. And it's hurting the CFL.

They will make the playoffs but I wouldn't call them a contender if they keep playing like this.

The poor quality of play in vast empty stadiums. I can't see a lot of fans looking forward to watching. Be interesting to know the ratings after week 2.

As the season went on Hughes disappeared. That whole DL last year was all about stats & personal bests. I got the impression that winning wasn't important to them as long as they got their sacks. I hope Jefferson checks his ego in the locker room when he plays here next year.

Desjardins was a failure as a GM in Hamilton. When he went to Ottawa we all expected him to fail there as well. But he exceeded expectations for 5 seasons until now when he started dicking around Harris over his signing bonus. He could have signed him for $475,000. That sounds like something the Hamilton Desjardins would have done.

They didn't sign Arceneaux to be used sparingly.
